Crazy how this reveals sanji’s psychology. The men in his life (his brothers and father) ridiculed, shunned and abused him while the women (sora and reiju) cared for and nurtured him. So he’s more loving and caring to women naturally and more defensive and violent towards other men. One of the best well-written characters in ALL of one piece 💯

The way I always read it was that his family assumed Sanji was dead. Meanwhile, Judge wanted to join forces with Big Mom but didn't want to marry any of his other sons off to her. And THEN, as the Straw Hats started making a name for themselves and their bounty posters were being more widely distributed, Judge discovers Sanji is indeed still alive and that works out perfectly for his plan. He didn't think Sanji was "making a name for himself". Sanji's forever a failure in Judge's eyes. It's just that the bounty poster revealed Sanji was still alive. That's it.
