I don't really get the hype with the Sephora sale. I'd only save 10%, and it's just not worth it. Maybe if I got 20% I would be more tempted to shop it, but then I'd have to spend so much to get to that status it would negate the 20% savings (as a non-beauty industry person).

The Palace Identity stuff is a collection from Zeesea Cosmetics! I have a couple of things from them and everything is really pretty-packaging and the carving on the lipstick is insane. It's a Chinese makeup brand so there's a lot of Asian makeup influences for their products. 😊

That sigma collab palette is the first palette that's actually caught my eye in a while. I also don't like foundation! I usually just use concealer or a skin tint. No foundation ever looks as good. The less product I use the better my skin looks

@@gidget_ I'm 41 with normal/dry skin, my favorite skin tints are wet n wild tinted hydrated, urban decay hydromaniac, and loreal age perfect serum foundation. The wet and wild is like 5$ and is great on dry skin, but has a terrible shade range. I only wear those if I'm doing a full face/going out. I usually stick to concealer, I have like 15 concealers that I like, lol. I would say a good lightweight one is loreal age perfect radiant concealer, good for dry skin too. I use full coverage concealers sometimes too. I just put a dot on each side of my nose to cover redness, a dot on my chin, and a small amount on my undereye.

I like the Dior Backstage palettes!! I think where the mixed reviews come in is that they are not super pigment packed. I don’t mind that, however, because the pigment is buildable and it blends like a dream. I always bring the cool neutrals with me when I travel because if I have to put on make up quickly, I can do my eyeshadow without even thinking with these palettes.

I love the Dior Backstage palettes for everyday "no makeup" looks and subtle color looks. They are not a ND type shadow. They almost feel more like a baked gelee formula (like the Nars blushes) They are a great addition to and have a place in my vast collection.

The TF lip color is the red dye #25. Tangee has had it since the 1920’s and you can buy the lip balm with flowers or gold flecks in it off Temu for a dime. Literally 10 cents.

When I saw the Tom Ford was bringing back the limited edition Lip Balm but in silver I immediately thought about Mel Thompson! When she purchased it last holiday that girlie got me to purchase it 💗 and Ive used it a few times and it’s so beautiful on your lips. Then we lost Mel and now it sits on my vanity and I see it every single day! I sure miss her! After you tried the Patrick Ta foundation I was sold. It’s being delivered tomorrow. I’m excited! I haven’t purchased a true foundation in so so long. I came to the same conclusion as you about a year ago. Give me a skin tint, some concealer, my Dior powder no powder, little bronzer lots if blush and I’m good! Since there are so many amazing skin tints and concealers out now I don’t like the feeling of wearing foundation. I think the new Fenty cream blush is so pretty and the new Sigma palette is GORGEOUS!!! Will I be purchasing the SKYN concrete tissue box, trash can, bowl and tray absolutely not but it’s someone else’s vibe I’m all for it!

I have three of the dragon lipsticks and they do not disappoint. Zeesea has very nice products. The only product from Thrive that I’ve tried is the tubing mascara in black/brown from Kackie’s recommendation. It’s my holy grail and after I used up my first tube I bought two more. Love!!

I am sick of Disney Collections, after a while it gets so old, and they all look the same. BUT, that's a big but, lol, I would love to see Sam review "The Corpse Bride" collection from SheGlam.
