Gilbert Arenas is a straight shooter and he don’t hold back from speaking his opinion about anybody, if he says he believes Master P was good enough for the league I believe Gil. I also saw master p play as well. He was definitely good enough in my opinion. Every time P got on the floor during his nba tryouts, he was giving out buckets.

I love P that's my boy been a number 1 fan since forever, but P didnt make the pros man lol he just basically tried out for a few teams played a few pre season games an got cut, that's not making it to the pros lol it just look good in his resume. But that's a big accomplishment to be a street dude a rapper an got an suited up an played some pre season games 💯 nobody else did it. My opinion P can hoop but it's not NBA level hoop. He can shoot though but we talking 98 99, the league wasnt into shooting 3s back then

People don’t understand that making it in the NBA has a lot to do with what team you actually go to and fitting in to the scheme. P was one of those guys that was right on the cusp. Would he have been a star… maybe. The closest comparison I can make is Stephen Jackson

If P wasn’t a rapper and label owner we’d likely have never heard of him considering that there have been players like Randy Brown and Fennis Dembo who actually played full seasons in the NBA and are unknown and forgotten by most…and I’m willing to bet that both of them would run circles around P who as good as he probably may have been, wasn’t good enough to make a league roster.

@@nakho3550 he probably was a good player in open rec playing against non-professional and non-high level college competition but against the hungry dudes trying to feed themselves and families who are not only extraordinarily talented but much quicker and stronger and worked relentlessly on their games that the NBA is comprised of, P who was occupied with other things likely was indeed seen as a temporary ticket seller for the Raptors at that time.

In thos 6 games he put up these numbers against bird/ celtics 39.7 points 6.7 rebounds 5.8 assists 2.2 steals 1.8 blocks I guess averaging 40 points in the playoffs against bird/ celtics isn't destroying him. Jordan's best teammate was john paxton. 99.9% couldn't name most of the players on those bulls lol. But for the celtics a lot of people can name that team. Parish, McHale, Danny ainge, bill Walton, Dennis Johnson. The only people I can name on the team where jordan put up 63 is Charles Oakley and john paxton.
