not perfect but probably the most skilled, tenacious, never gets lazy on a game and I think he likes the game more when there are challenges against him or a trash talk on him, say he cant do this he cant do that. he will take it personally and prove you wrong.crazy mentality but so effective for him, hes using to it better himself than what already he is, like leveling up

Jordan’s almost perfect fundamentals are never mentioned. Footwork, hand-eye coordination. Combine that with amazing athleticism, 4.3 speed, huge hands and and an absolute dog mentality….there’s nothing like him.

I wish someone could make like a 10 min video comparing LeBron’s game vs Michael Jordan’s game. It would be a comedy show to be honest with you. Someone just watch LeBron trying to create his own shot. The dude has no footwork. He travels half the time. Stumbles on his own foot sometimes. (No joke). No shot. Also, more than 80% of his shots have come off assisted layups and dunks.
@jakeadams7183

@@letmetellyousomethin9410 I think not enough ppl who know their hoop understand. Jordan’s game was so tough. Absolute mastery, jump shot, footwork, head fakes, first step, cat like speed, ball control, switching hands, finishing. Just the awareness is unmatched. Miles ahead of lebrons game. On both ends, and did it relentlessly every night. Its funny whenever the debate is brought up that the only part brought up is career achievements and not the skill difference between the two. Let’s be real, the debate isn’t actually even close. Just makes for fun talk to most.

@@jakeadams7183 - Absolutely. That’s my argument when people bring up the GOAT talk. I just point to the skill level. “If you were to have a win or die game and you can choose only one player to be on your team, would you choose Jordan or Lebron?” The answer never comes quickly to those LeBron supporters.
@jakeadams7183
@jakeadams7183 2 жыл бұрын
@@letmetellyousomethin9410 right, I just feel like when the debate is brought up , how long Lebron has played, or his longevity records or the players he’s played with or against is always the vocal point of their argument, and never who was the more skilled and effective basketball player. There’s just no logical way watching both guys you can definitively say Lebron was the better player, there’s a massive skill difference.

Unless people got to witness the Jordan era, they shouldn’t be able to have an opinion on the goat debate. MJ was not human and you felt his presence and everyone, I mean everyone feared that man. Anyone who says Lebron is the goat, obviously didn’t get to witness true dominance and consistency that Jordan showed. Nobody was even close to being named in the same breath as MJ. Lebron is a beast. But he isn’t and can never be what MJ was. Even if Lebron wins another couple rings, that won’t change anything. Lebron has far too many L’s. Jordan didn’t even know what an L was.

What I love about Max is that he's fearless, and also played on edge: his opponents never knew if that fuse was gonna go off! Vernon is great. Love his honesty, his confidence in his Rockets. I could listen to his talk all day. You never know what would’ve happened if they played Jordan in the finals, but Jordan had no problem with the teams the Rockets beat in the finals. And the regular season is meaningless. The Bulls were a combined 1-3 against the Jazz in the 1997 and 1998 seasons and they beat the Jazz in 6 games in back to back NBA finals.

It's refreshing to hear Vernon's take on Jordan. Love these old school NBA players. I remember MJ like yesterday. He would strike fear into any opponent he was so good.

Mad Max keeping it real with MJ. He's one of the few people who can get under MJ's skin but he has mad respect for his game. I remember JET saying Mad Max would try to fight MJ, but after the game he would bring his son to MJ wearing a complete Bulls jersey to ask for his autograph. Hahaha

The fact that these young guys still hold Jordan as the standard proves he's the GOAT. Jordan hasn't played in almost 20 years and you got guys that were in diapers at the time still wanting a piece of number 23.

Whats funny is that Vernon Maxwell was quite vicious too against MJ and often fought with him, so they're no friends but the respect they have for MJ is incredible. It shows how players in the old days had respect for each other despite being enemies and fierce competitors.

Exactly. Jordan hates Isiah but he calls him the 2nd greatest PG of all time. And on several occasions, Thomas has called Jordan the goat. He's obviously changed his tune at this point but he flip flops every few years.

Vernon is right about winning 5 out of 6 during the first 3-peat of the Bulls, but it's not true the Rockets dominated also the years before. In the three seasons from 1987 to 1990 it was 4-2 for the Bulls. Also, we can imagine they would work on a tactical plan to find the answer against Hakeem if they played Houston in the finals. Another clue is Houston had a very hard time with the Knicks, even harder than Chicago had in the previous years' Eastern playoffs. So, the best answer is we just don't know. Yes, the Rockets would have a chance to win, but MJ was MJ.

JORDAN AVERAGE 20 Point against Rockets Career avg 30
@Phillip-xi2cq
@Phillip-xi2cq 7 ай бұрын
@@aceboogie7785 To Clarify Jordan averaged 34.4 ppg versus the Hakeem rockets. Dunno why you put the number 20 in there. His averaged dropped to 30 only when he played the Rockets when he was at Washington and Hakeem was no longer part of the team. Jordan played 22 games against the Rockets when Hakeem was on their squad. 13 of those games he scored 30 or more points. 5 times he scored 40 or more points. Only 1 time. His rookie season was he held under 20.
