This was an encore performance and my all-time favorite of Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. I never get tired of it. Another good version is the Tusk Tour live version.

Bands back then used to go backstage after their last song and party like teens listening to the crowd cheering "encore". after ten-thirty minutes later they would stumble out for "Sisters of the Moon". Though, I am sure you already knew that custom. Great Request!! Thanks, Happy New Year!!

Hi again its Billy from England your favourite menace, just watched your reaction to Fleetwood mac doing sisters of the moon, wow what a fantastic track, always been one of my favourite from fleetwood mac, especially the absolutely amazing Steve nicks, just to put you right on one point, this was the encore song, if you ever watch the whole concert just before this track you see Mick fleetwood in the dressing room actually on oxygen where he's so,um trying not to be rude lol, he's so knackered,if I can suggest another track from this show its a song called (I'm so afraid),im suggesting this track because I've noticed you both like guitar solos,well this one is as far as I'm concerned up there with the very very best of em,and if you notice the guitar Lindsy Buckingham plays is I think a costum built one, on this particular solo he plays like I've never seen anyone else play, its all just fingers and thumb, no plectrum ever,as I've said before he's one of the most underrated guitarist ever, I've seen over the years nearly all the sosay best guitarist and he's up there with the best, anyway really hope you do react to this track as I know you will both love it, anyway you both take care keep up the great work English Billy
@bobblethreadgill446311 ай бұрын
I think Lindsey built two or three of these unique guitars. No brand but his. I don't think you can buy 'em. I could be wrong about that tho. Well, I just found out the particular model is by Rick Turner and manufactured by "Santa Cruz" guitars. Ooops

I love that you are getting into a verity of music. im 33 and grew up on Fleetwood Mac because my mom loves them especially Stevie Nicks. My favorite part of Fleetwood Mac is that they do not fall in a genre they have country hits, alternative hits, rock hits, they do not conform to being in 1 lane at all. they are authentically themselves. Some songs I strongly recommend ( because they are so different) 1) Landslide: Its just Stevie and an acoustic guitar just fully stripped back about the changes and challenges in life. The story behind Stevie writing it is so cool. The song is beautiful (this song is some what slower pace ) 2) Song Bird: Beautiful I believe it's all piano another fully stripped back song. Its about being being expressing vulnerability and love ( Not sung by Stevie!!!!! It is Christine McVie singing it who primally does backing vocals, keyboard, and writes song. Christie McVie did write this song) Sadly she passed away last November. 3) Gypsy: Exactly how I would describe Stevie Nicks is a Gypsy (in a positive free spirited way): it's just a fun song. The song explores the side of one’s personality that values freedom and fearlessness. which explains why they don't conform to a single genre. I love music that shares stories which is why I love Country, and Rock/ Alternative. Songs that tell stories, are so relatable and when you combined that relatability, along with storytelling, amazing vocals, and great beats, it's truly an artistic masterpiece. ***OTHERS TO CHECK OUT*** I know you guys did Martina McBrides super emotional songs and many reviews stop reviewing her music. I would love for you to review her song "This one's for the girls" it has gotten me though and continues to get me through various points in my life. Its up beat, and emotional but is such an amazing girl power, you are beautiful for being you. along with life long reminders. Another song is By: Dani and Lizzy Nelson (they are twins) called " Dancing in the sky" expresses sorrow at the loss of a loved one, it also asks for happiness and to have no fears or pain. After going Facebook viral with a webcam video they posted of the song in 2016. They then produced a studio video and all the photos and names attached are from fans of the song who submitted loved ones that had passed on. It's a beautiful song that has truly helped me get through so many times I have had to grieve loss. from family and pets, to friends and classmates. It truly is beautiful they originally sung the song on with a webcam and posted to Facebook. Lizzy wrote the song after she was struggling to deal with the loss of her two close friends. Since then they continue to do music but never intended to be singers. but went viral on Facebook and changed their lives. but this was and I believe continues to be their biggest hit.

Stevie was still grieving this night over the loss of her best friend Robin to leukemia.. She passed the year prior, this was the Mirage tour, the following year she was better enough to do her second solo album (The Wild Heart) that has the Prince inspired hit "Stand Back", I always wanted to think that Sisters of the Moon was a sequel to Rhiannon, just my opinion
@Rya-m7c4 ай бұрын
When you said she passed the year prior. It was actually only ten days before this concert and she still went out there as an emotional wreck during the show. Seeing as she was literally bawling on stage and Lindsey was comforting her during the ending. It was a very sad history to the show back in ‘82 unfortunately.
@deedeesnicks4 ай бұрын
@@Rya-m7c you are right she did passed in Oct 82, I had Mirage and her solo album Belladonna tour confused because that tour was only 12 shows and she was emotional then as well because she had get end it to start Mirage.

You're correct about them being high...or drunk...or maybe both. It's no secret that the members of Fleetwood Mac were prone to excesses during this era, but then that was the norm for most rock bands of the era. Definitely listen to the studio version of this song. It's quite different and way more melodic than how it's performed here.

Reaction Request: Why are you constantly avoiding "Fleetwood Mac"s first phase 1967 - 1970 ? Their early band-leader Peter Green (voc/g) had serious drug problems, when he suddenly left1970. The years 1970 to 1975 saw some personal changes, but Mick Fleetwood (dr) and John McVie (b) stayed as constant members plus his wife Christie McVie (keyboards), when she joined the band in 1970 officially. So please enjoy this recording "Oh Well" from 1969 kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqrUXnmtbKhlbLs (The presenter of the performance is the ex keyborder of the "Animals" Alan Price) See you again soon ❤ Jean Philippe aka Uwe (from Bavaria)

Oops my bad...I have gotten so use to suggesting live performances, it's hard to remember to suggest studio's 1st. But I shall try to do better in future. ✋promise. ☺ I think maybe we should probably go back to the beginning with Peter Green with their second studio album "Mr. Wonderful" this all blues album was released in 1968 it was somewhat similar to their debut album, albeit with some changes to personnel and recording methods. The album was recorded live in the studio with micked amplifiers and PA system. It's a beautiful cover. I believe the original version was recorded in 1936 by Robert Johnson...u know the story about the guy that went down to Georgia, to the crossroads where he sold his soul in order to be the greatest blues guitarist of all time, yeah that Robert Johnson. 😏 Here's a song from that album, if interested. "Fleetwood Mac - Dust My Broom" (by the channel: Fleetwood Mac)" Enjoyed rocking with ya'll -N-Thanks for sharing.

Stevie is great, but she wasn't better than anybody else in Fleetwood Mac. Christina McVie sang lead in more of their hits and Lindsay sang almost as many leads along with being one of the best guitar players ever. The namesakes of the band Mick Fleetwood and John McVie were the best rhythm section ever in a band.
