I just love how the stages in these old games transition after enough damage is dealt to the backgrounds. My personal favorites being the bridge where you fight Collossus, Spiral's trippy-ass stage (fucking 5 floors!!!), and the bridge in Canada (Niagra falls?) where you meet Logan

I played that yesterday.... The gameplay was really good!.... But the visuals... LOL! Just ripped me out of the experience. I'm still glad I bought it through Gamepass at a Discount though.

I swear, watching Ken beat up on Sabertooth is like watching Little Mac beat up on Bald Bull he's so much fucking bigger than everyone... Then again, that's just a thing where the COTA sprites pound for pound are just drawn bigger than the Street Fighter Alpha sprites. I get that like... Ryu is a little Japanese man, but also he's supposedly 5'9 and Sabertooth is a fucking skyscraper of a man. Magneto is 6'2" and I dunno if it's the levitation, but he's ALSO fucking huge.

Magneto and Storm might be top tier in X-Men vs Street Fighter as well, but this ain't Marvel 2, so not only are they not invincible, which means the rest of the cast can compete with them, but characters like Wolverine, Cyclops and Chun LI are just as good as them, which makes this game way more fun to me personally.

For me, Cyberbots has the best backgrounds of any fighting game. There’s so much detail, so much happens, there’s so much interaction between you and the backgrounds, and they change so much from round to round. There’s one where you’re fighting on a busy street, and something changes in the background during every round (the buildings crumble, they catch fire, helicopters turn up etc.), all the way through to the 4th round. I love that game and the backgrounds were so impressive.

Imported the PSX version on release, and was sad to see that there was no tag. When I found the secret that allowed tag, as long as you used the same characters - it didn't matter. Just made due. Was so happy to have some home version.

That would be Hot! On A1up through the Marvel Vs. Capcom cab I get Marvel Superheroes up to MVC. Unfortunately it's A1up sooo.... People feel however they want without getting hands on. It just means that MVC is Popping every night online, but the other games.... Not really. Not enough people to get the ball rolling.
