I'm an Anxious, my ex is an Avoidant. I don't know much about her childhood, I know her & her mother have a real tight relationship, they're like best friends. However, I do know she's had a very toxic relationship which she is still holding on to. It has affected our relationship so much that she's gotten cold and pulled away, so we're currently in No Contact. I'm working on my personal growth, I hope she's doing the same and she'll come back around

Same situation, exactly. Sounds like the same person. Any update?

Hi Craig, I have been watching your videos and they have been a tremendous help. I was wondering if you could do a video on why people develop anxious-avoidant attachment style symptoms if they were mistreated in a past relationship. There is a girl that comes from a very secure and loving family(no apparent childhood trauma). She was badly mistreated in her last relationship and has since then been afraid of commitment. She has been showing avoidant attachment behaviours just as you described in your other attachment style videos. Could there be a correlation?

I listen to a lot of your videos. I stumbled on this one and it resonates a lot. I suffer from severe anxiety and depression my husband moved out 14 months ago he had rages where he smashed the house up he's a self garner and a cutter. He had also been diagnosed before with bi polar. I have a therapist, a physciciatrst and I go to al anon twice a week. My husband lives in a separate apartment two miles from me and o e day he wants to get back together the next he says he hates me. He smokes weed all day and other than some free random counseling sessions that's it as he believes he is fine and everything is my fault. I know I should let go but I'm terrified to have him completely out of my life as I miss the " old him" cliche I know... it's such a weird situation I'm in limbo .. help !

Hey Craig, quick question. We ended things mutually but I want to give it a second shot. She said she wanted to stay friends and I agreed but I don't/didn't really plan on being friends with her, though i haven't told her that. I'm in the beginning of no contact but she sends me snapchats every now and then. She snapschats quite a bit. They're usually something light and causal and nothing about me or the relationship. Could I use this to my advantage or should I just ignore them. We don't really communicate in any other way. It's kinda a long distance thing. Thanks!

My ex wants to be in a long distance relationships with someone he's never met and he doesn't know if he'll ever give us another chance how do I convince him that long distance isn't the way to go and get him back. He cheated on me with the girl over Skype even though we were 'together' it wasn't official but we were still together for a year and half but I hurt him because of my personal insecurities and having a crush on his friend. He never told me about the girl or that he didn't think we were together I don't have money for coaching but I really want him back please help

Hi guys and Craig! A quick question.. I am dating a girl for 4 months we had the "talk" and she said I am a perfect guy but at this point of time dont see me as a potential future boyfriend... She still wanna date me and have fun but said "hope we are on the same page". Is it possible it can turn to a serious relasionship if I still keep dating her and having fun (like ice skating, darts not just sex) or just forget it and try to move on as 4 months enough to fall in love? Thanks

If she has had "The talk" with you and the out come of that "Talk" is that she still wants to hang out, have fun and hook up, whats your problem ? .. Yes 4 months is a while and usually if you do everything right the women will fall in love within the 2 month mark .. However if you have done anything to cause her to lose attraction then that will set that time back. Just keep doing what your doing, focus on having fun and stop focusing on the label. Because eventually it will make you insecure and a little needy, thus helping her to friendzone you completely. Go back to setting dates once a week, get her to initiate most of the contact .. See how that goes over the next few weeks
