Problem with "rushing through The Grind so you can get to the stuff you enjoy" is that 90% of "the stuff you enjoy" will be the same stuff you've just rushed through.... because there isn't anything else. There are exceptions but, for example, if you're rushing through the grind so you can buy a fully-loaded combat Corvette to space Anacondas, it'll be exactly the same gameplay if you were flying a Cobra and using it to space Adders and DBXs. Maybe you want to buy an Anaconda so you can go space-trucking but, again, it'll be exactly the same gameplay if you were flying an AspX. Sure, you can do stuff on a "higher level" with a top-tier ship but the actual gameplay IS identical.

My fav way to make credits is rescue passengers from thargoid under attack large stations. 4-6 jumps range, get the rep to ally and enjoy 120-180m per trip. the catch is if your too fast you saturate it, but you can come back 3-5 times a day spaced apart and make that value always.

@@tomasbancak8752 I use a Type 7 for burning station rescue missions. It has a surprisingly good amount of passenger capacity, is easier to land than the other larger passenger ships, and you won't completely clear the board so you don't have to wait for resets. Trying to make the ship cold doesn't change much from what I've tried (you're still popping one heat sink going in and one on your way out). @@tomasbancak8752 you can use something else for the computer, also thee passenger cabins i switch around depending what station im running. some stations when at max rep give more business options. the heat sync is the pre engineered one. all you need are the three ECM one setup for each button and the third as a back up in case both are on CD. it takes a little to understand how far missles and limpets are from you but basically pay attention to your radar and when you see white get ready to use ECM and boost in a slightly different angle so the missile doesn't dumb fire hit you. exiting the stations if they are full of thargoids i boost around to behind the station to make them take longer to reach me while i boost away to jump. EDSY says 39 jump but its more like 41. 4-6 jumps away is paying me 150m average per trip, and it takes about 15-20 minutes each trip.
@rednarok8 ай бұрын
and no shields, just pay attention when exiting and entering stations cuz some passengers are fussy, but with no shield the thargoid that flies at your speed doesnt use electric shock anymore which would interrupt the countdown to jump even and stun you and hit you with limpets all at the same time. ever since i remved the shield i never saw electricity again. this is a breeze and it feels great to make average half a B an hour

I do afk, let me explain why. The grind in this game is ......fucked, but I did it. The fleet carrier was my end game goal. I milked low temprature diamonds when they were the go for about the same time that you would spend to complete any other solid game just to get it. It makes me happy. It's my space home base. But now there is a negative loop to keep it based on upkeep. I refuse to loose it. Makes me happy. It's a show of my success and accomplishment in the game (if even only for me). Afk farming I can do while I'm at work (luxury of working from home to be fair), it means I can play once per 6 months to keep it. The Down side of upkeep is when I feel the urge to dive in and try something, all I care about is space cheddar (to quote another cdmr) rather and experimenting with other game play. It's a negative game play loop the really grates me. Get ride of upkeep. If they don't log on for 3 months warp it out into storage or something. They can work it out. Draining our grinded funds It's the biggest fuck you to the player base if ever there was one. It's the pinnacle of your game play Don't make it a negative.

You can still do the massacre stacking solo. Pirate kills are tracked for missions on a PER FACTION basis. So if you get a 5m "Kill 10 pirates" mission from The Union of United Uniters and another 5m "Kill 10 pirates" from The Liberal Party of Free Freedom, you get paid 10m after 10 kills. In the right places, you can stack these from 6-10 different factions. I regularly get a stack of 20 missions which require between 70-100 kills (per faction, not combined), kill them off in about 2 hrs, and walk home with around 300-400m credits, plus my paltry 20-30m bounties. And that's solo, no wing stacking. I don't have friends. :(

There are always a few markets in the bubble that buy Monazite at around 750k credits. Also, the ring density plays a role in core mining; find a dense ring with multiple Monazite hotspots, preferably of density over 8 or 9 ton/km^2. Oh, there is another "classic" trade route in the Taygeta system, from Titan's Daughter station. This is an easy back and forth money maker. You take missions to fill up your cargo with, make 1 jump to another station to complete the missions, then you can buy another commodity to take back to Titan's Daughter for s smaller profit return trip. Do this enough, you get better missions with better rank with the local factions. Round trip, takes about 15 to 20mins, give or take, and there is not much risk. Apart from the usual NPC pirate interdiction now and then.
@EugeeFGII8 ай бұрын
Can confirm the wing mission massacre stacking works quite well. Everyone on the wing stacks up as many missions as possible. Everyone runs a KWS. We would typically have a wing of 4 people, with each of us having 10-15 missions, and needing to kill around 90-120 pirates. Once they were all finished, then you return back to base, and then TAKE TURNS sharing your mission, let everyone turn it in, then you turn it in. Rinse and repeat for each person till all the missions are turned in. Then we all go to our squadron carrier to turn in our bounties, which will let you turn in all bounties you picked up (even if you would have had to travel around to jurisdictions normally). Yes, 25% of the bounties go to the carrier--but since we control the carrier... I once made 850M in just over 2 hours, counting the hand-ins. The problem is still that for this to be effective--you need to have a decked out ship that's probably fully engineered--meaning you probably don't need the money anymore, except for stuff like carrier upkeep. The last time we did this was right before we quit the game--loading up the carrier with enough credits to keep the upkeep paid for 5 years with all the services shut off. That was about 3 years ago lol.

FYI you can do the space conflict zones legit, as the missions don't care about the CZ difficulty in which you kill the ships. So you can just go do a low CZ and get the same mission reward. And if you get a wing up and share the wing missions, all kills count towards everyone's shared missions, so you can crank out the missions. With high faction for the mission-giver, you can get 30-40 mill per wing mission, letting you crank out over a hundred mil an hour per person in your wing.

So if you don't have a ton of time to play and want that bigger ship it's like what choice do you have. And they harassed us in private group with around 10 factions of hundreds nolife players from EVE during 2-3 monthes. At the end 80% of our faction had left the game and the others just left BGS to quit few weaks after. Today, i try to come back some times, but what to do alone after 5k hours...

when i started my buddy and I found a great merchant run between two planets in the same system that had a pretty large price difference because they were on opposite sides of a war. only medium landing pads though so ship size is limiting. if I remember it was about 7-10m in 4 minutes but my buddy and I were enough action to saturate the price difference in 4-5 hours of game play every few days. though I did get exploded by a player carrying like 20m+ worth of cargo once and had to work back up to full loads.

I found a good spot to mine. I like mining (and not having to think/very relaxing with my hotas) while watching movies and KZbin on a side screen. I am at 8 billion, lol.

Don't bother with prospector limpets for laser mining. Just randomly laser a rock - you'll know really quickly if it chucks out the stuff you want. If not, move on. You'll know when you've milked out a good one. As for AFK of course it's slow but making Cr250m just for leaving your PC on overnight is a fine antidote to carrier upkeep costs. Especially if you're not playing much while you wait for them to give you a reason to (mentioning no mes).

IDK but the inara prices are just wrong for me. Was hoping for A-B-A trips, and wherever I go the prices are much lower for sell and much higher for buy then on the site. And yes, I've been in systems that were updated minutes ago, max 1h. What am I doing wrong?

Dude, they didn’t nerf “the best farming ways”. They just turned them off (after they were available during some time to let you to spend your money for a new toy after a next game update). However a bug fixing is a normal process (like to close an entry to a hyper space between planetary rings which was full of void opal cores) PS An asteroid map. Yep. This leads to about 200kk/h. But you need to invest either into a laptop or a second monitor (this is a next level comparing to just a browser; did you ever played a game which requires an additional laptop?) PSS Can I consider 20 advs I had to watch as a kind of grinding? PPSS You’ve forgot an asteroid belt (not ring) core mining/pirates fighting. With a list of systems and belts which contain one core (the asteroids remain there respawning in 6 hours). It’s about 100kk/h. For instance there are 15 cores in a radius of 30ly around Shinrartra.

I remember hopping on this game around 3 to 5 years ago now to actually try to play it, i discovered the system that had a triple hotspot of a rare resource i cannot remember the name of, and i mined that for a day. I went from not even a million in my account to using a viper to haul 250million worth of resources every haul. I stopped playing right after the forst large haul. I can afford an anaconda but never went to get it. Now that hotspot was removed years ago so now im just a semi rich boy scared to spend his credits cause its harder ti make em back lol
