There was a kid in my school that always threw bits of his lunch to the ravens that had nests near the school grounds. It went on for two years and one day it absolutely paid off bc he was getting bullied for being "the weird kid", and as if on queue a dozen ravens started swooping at the bullies, pecking at them and chasing them away from the kid while everyone else stared in awe at "the Raven Lord". That was the single funniest, most amazing and low key scary things I saw happen at that school. Ravens are way too intelligent for something that doesn't have thumbs...

My mother's family when she was still at home kind of had a wild pet crow, feed and named it. It would take shiny tools, etc, and her dad thought it was the kids. Weeks later found the crows stockpile lol

I read a greentext story on 4chan once where a guy lived around two separate flocks of crows and basically set one against the other. He gave members of the first flock lots of good bread while they gave him lots of shiny things and occasionally dollar bills, while he threw rocks at members of the first flock while they retaliated by dive-bombing him when he walked by. The first flock recognized him as BEST FREN and the second flock knew he was WORST NON FREN. He eventually made the to flocks go to war against each other over him, and the first flock won, so he rewarded the remaining members of the fren flock with a bunch of McDonalds French fries. I forget how it went exactly, but that was the gist of it. Crows are crazy smart.

I love crows, I live in the outskirts of a city, in the winter they all flock to my town from the fields outside the town, I love to watch them bicker or play with each other. If I had the chance I'd try to domesticate one. :D

We have coywolves on our property and they've treed my dad's cousin when he's hunted deer so yeah, they aren't afraid of people. There's also been sightings of timber wolves, cougars, and black bears in my county supposedly come down from WI so that's fun. I would watch NOPE before watching his latest video, since it's all about the real events that inspired the movie.

I think the bird you saw at the pet store was a cockatoo! The specific one I don't know as there's actually a surprising amount of cockatoos out there, a lot coming in pinks and whites. Be careful about getting a bird though, cockatoos can live for decades and they are LOUD, not to mention not all birds can speak.

Okay, when she started talking about a very beautiful kind of pearlescent white and pink bird I was like I don't know about pearlescent but it is white and pink. A lot of the time that would be a cockatoo or cockatiel cockatoos are bigger. They're like typical parrot sized and cockatiels are more like parakeet sized they literally also have a crest that is usually down but when they get excited they can lift it so they look a lot different than most of the parrot family

Since crows are smart, grabbing one which attempts to attack you and repeatedly smashing it on the pavement, in front of other crows, will probably send the message and the word will spread among them.
