Just a note to say Mark is working hard on the next episode. The reason it takes so long is that (unlike many youtubers) Mark researches from primary sources - police files, witness interview statements, contemporary newspaper accounts, court trial transcipts and other relevant material (photos etc) including the aftermath and story of the participants and their descendants in the following years (where possible). From these, he analyses and constructs a timeline, developes his case and ends up writing about 15,000 words (the length of an Undergraduate thesis). From this, he writes a 1500 word narrative (about an hour's worth) to lay out the story in the best manner. Then he compiles and produces the video, drawing sketches where photos are lacking, and records the narrative and prologue face-to-camera piece. It's a long job! But this is why these documentaries are such a high standard in terms of accuracy, analyses, detail and professionalism. :)

Well worth waiting for Melanie. You can tell from the 1st video viewed how meticulously his videos are made. They stand out. I haven't seem every true crime on YT, but I've a hell of a ton! This is one of the best. Better than some very expensively put on channels. And I'd even say some mainstream like 20/20 from NYC. Where the music is too much, too loud and there's way too much talk. Love this channel. Greetings from Michigan, USA xx

Another masterpiece! One of the most intriguing murder mysteries ever. This is absolutely fascinating, carefully researched, very well presented and scripted tale of the 60-year old mystery of who murdered wealthy Suffolk business-man William Murfitt. Mark- although, you named the true murderer, housekeeper, who was a horrible woman and very free with the murder, but this cunning woman by her glib explanations got away with murder. The research undertaken by yourself on the case, including old photos and also the post- crime life of the accused are excellent. I love your sketches, as always, they show that you convey the story using these simple, talented drawings. Thank you, Mark, this was a brilliant story and your usual high standard of narration. Congrats!

Such an intriguing story ! I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was an hour of absolute delight . At the beginning I never suspected Mr.Walker to be an accomplice however, due to the fact that he actually took her , a mere housekeeper, to social gatherings seemed suspicious and the 2 were later married made me realize it. Mary was a sinister woman and a thief ! I couldn’t get over the pattern of hers excusing herself to be found going through other people’s belongings! That must’ve been rather too awkward! You have been such a delight for me during quarantine/isolation. Several You Tube channels have so increased the quality of my life during this time and yours has brought me great measure and has often taken my mind off the horrors of this pandemic. Thank you. They are amazing stories. You make them so. 🤗

Thank you for another interesting tale, beautifully researched. Brings the injustice home when the protagonist died a comparatively short time ago having lived out her life in peaceful retirement baking cakes. Somewhat relieved I didn’t get invited round for tea.
