Gaza is an open air prison, The West Bank is an apartheid and in the Great March of Return which was mostly peaceful, Palestinians got shot and murdered. In Maher's film "Religulous", he said - on camera - that the Muslim people he was interviewing were putting on a show to seem nice. He lambasted other religios but - as Sam Greenspan and others noted - he handled Jewish issues with "kid gloves".(Greenspan's words not mine). Maher has been pretty open about his prejudice and bias against Muslims and that serves the purpose of various foreign entity visits since the early 90s. It has been important to dehumanize them and thus by inclusion, the Palestinians.
