One reason is because the drivers seat has the most safety features as part of the design. It is the only seat position that will always be filled when in motion. The newer models have better safety features for all seat positions but the drivers seat is still the best place to be.

I was housed with Aaron Hernandez at Walker Correctional Institution in December of 2014. He got into a fight with someone over a phone call on Christmas eve, and thanks to him we spent Xmas eve and Xmas on lockdown. On Aaron Hernandez - There is a movie called CONCUSSION. It's a biography on Dr. Bennet Omalu who first discovered CTE. It's a really good movie. Hard to watch if you're a football fan but it makes sense on why these players commit such violent crimes. Idk, but it seems like that's usually the case. But don't worry. A dui resulting in vehicular homicide is usually charged as 2nd degree murder (unless you're rich/famous). Which basically means you're going to spend at least 20 years in prison. That's probably worse than death. Couple that with the guilt, and I think a lot of people would rather have died in the wreck too. And those kinda charges aren't taken lightly in prison.

When you brace for impact, particularly, you tend to tense up making your body more fragile. If you are totally relaxed your body just absorbs the blow like jello. And you just naturally take the path of least resistance without fighting it. Which guards you from injury. It's the same logic applies with skateboarding and other sports. But in this case, the victim's car caught on fire so even if she was relaxed I don't think she'd have a chance to survive.

I may be very wrong here as main stream media doesn’t always report the story correctly, but what I saw on a news report and read in a news article online, in the Oscar case…. They were quite serious, she had a key to his condo, and she had let herself in, to surprise him when he was sleeping, and he didn’t expect her to be there. So when he woke up, hearing movement in his home, he became very startled, thinking someone had broken in so he basically “shot first and asked questions later” . Both reports also stated that there had been a rash of break ins lately ( in rich peoples homes in his area) and that’s why he was so on edge when he heard movement in his home. Again I don’t know for a fact this is true as I wasn’t there and well, main stream media reports aren’t always reliable. But this is why I rescued 2 pitties and trained them well because with the massive crime surge happening in my state lately, nobody is getting into my home without the entire neighborhood hearing them and being alerted to it.

Most people are guilty of DUI (1 drink is DUI). You should know what your limit is. In a group at least one should be designated the driver. For me 3 was the limit. Depending on how strong, 1 was enough. A beer would help sober me up even when i was in my own home. I don't like hangovers and know i wouldn't be able to live with harming someone else. I don't like running over a dead squirrel in the road.Thankfully that in my stupidity years I didn't. I had that one pissy night. Eventhough I did speed limit with both hands on the wheel it was a 25 minute drive home, after 1am on a dark whinny and be aware of deer road. Next day, car was in space but one tire on parking beam. I said Angels got me home that night. DIDN'T DO THAT SHIT AGAIN!!! Friends got mad at me one night in club because i stopped mixing them drinks. I wasnt going to be responsible if they got in an accident.
