People go to Pawn Shops for easy money, or to get rid of something fast. If they wanted to sell the ring for higher they would have got it properly appraised and then sold it at an auction or something. But holding onto the ring for too long would mean that they would have gotten caught with it. I guess they figured that selling it at a Pawn Shop was safer... but obviously not.

I agree that good hygiene is important, but if a paramedic is removing your underwear in the back of an ambulance because you slipped on ice, then something is definitely wrong there. Sounds like he might have been a perv. Exception of course would be if you happen to be pregnant and theres reason to believe the slip may have induced labour. That definitely changes things.

There is no excuse for any of these people, paramedics are usually revered by the public for their tireless work to save lives, especially in the last couple of years, but this lot are scum and have tainted that golden reputation of the paramedic, the person driving the ambulance whilst drunk and under the influence of drugs is, in my opinion, the worst of them all, he could have just called in sick if he wanted, but he didn’t, he deliberately drove, and that to me was premeditated and should have the book thrown at him.
