I think the fancy water brands slowly normalized bottled water until it became so normal, everyone started buying it. Then and only then did we become so accustomed to it that people didn’t think twice before purchasing purified tap water. The same process would have to happen for people to actually buy canned air, which history proves is totally feasible! Start with canning and marketing the fanciest possible air and then once that’s normalized enough you can over saturate the market with lab-made canned air, which is basically the equivalent of bottled water that’s really just filtered tap.
