Another week and another massive step forwards to getting the Z's engine back together and ready to be put back in the Z! In this episode we get lots of work on the engine and engine bay done and everything is coming out absolutely perfect!

What are those AN fittings called used on the valve cover? I remember you used them when you rebuilt your fuel system on the fuel pump/sender unit. Or is it a combination of parts that sandwiches the fititngs like that?

These are standard bulkhead an fittings. The ones you'd get for a fuel pump usually have two sets of threads on the bottom. One for holding the fitting in place, and another for attaching the line to. This kind only has one set of threads as you don't attach anything underneath

where did you get the manifold from?

The intake and exhaust manifold are from Pucker Factory Fabrication. But be warned, its a one man show and the guy running it is notorious for bad fitment, and you'll likely be waiting years for orders to be fulfilled. I've been told by several people in this community to steer clear.

I would really like to know since when we are notorious for bad fitting parts? We have built thousands of parts for the z31 community and other communities and rarely have had any issues, and the rare occasion there has been an issue we have always reached out to our customers.
