Key point…he was the ring leader…he was the one that started all of this and then got his friends to join him….when HE was caught HE ratted on his friends to make a deal and get a reduced sentence. His friends probably would have never done these kinds of crimes on their own….he was the one bad apple that spoiled the whole bunch…and then he turned them over for less punishment for himself. Yes…the friends are criminals too…but he created this and then received less punishment just because he turned them in….that’s not right. He was stealing before he even met them….this was his creation and he would have done it even if they never went along with it because he was the mastermind. I’m so sick of hearing that these criminals can make deals for lesser sentences…they don’t deserve a lesser sentence.
