When the nausea starts to subside time fliiiiiiies through the second trimester!! Once you’re at the end of the third trimester it feels like it takes a whole 9 months to get through just that! My OB told me at the end of my first pregnancy, “Once you’re convinced that you’re going to be pregnant forever, then the baby will come.” 😂
@commonsense6967Ай бұрын
I agree--and then later found it was exactly the same thing, wondering if I'd ever finally get to menopause!!
@EmEm78Ай бұрын
Omg, my first baby was 17 days overdue before they finally decided to do a c-section. I swear once you hit that due date and are just waiting on the baby to make an appearance, time slows all the way down to the point it's almost going backwards 😂 Being huge and uncomfortable definitely doesn't help.

Smart. The beauty of not telling the name is that people don't feel so free to share their opinions once she's already been named. I wish I'd known this. Glad you're feeling better.

So sorry about your uncle.😢 when I was in the hospital after having my daughter. I decided first name Heather. The nurse came in, asked me what her middle name was. I could not decide middle name. The nurse mentioned Michelle. I told her sounds good to me❤ Heather Michelle is now 31 years.

Right before delivery date when baby gets in the right postion, be ready to have a foot in the lung. Also smaller people tent to get huge ( coming from someone who is small). My first 2 babys I was so huge but my last was a premi so I didn't get as big and I was also dealing with crohn's at the time.

I’m so sorry to hear about your uncle. My experience isn’t rectum related but uterus related. I had a hysterectomy back in February. It hasn’t been quite a year and I occasionally feel like my period is going to start even though the organ isn’t there. It’s a very odd feeling.

Deepest condolences on the loss of your uncle. When you are trying to keep your scar hydrated.. something i used during my cancer radiation was coconut oil.. it hydrated like nothing else did!! I used the solid coconut oil in the cooking oil section at the store. It goes on solid and liquefies fast and was easy to keep skin hydrated! Just a thought!

When I was pregnant (many years ago) with my first child, when he was in utero, he would sometimes kick down. It felt as if he was going to push his way through my pelvic floor. This seemed to happen most when I was sitting in a dining room chair playing pinochle with friends. Came as a huge and sudden surprise and IT HURT!!! I would have to elevate off the chair. Changing positions, standing up helped.

As if you don’t have enough challenges each day, the phantom rectum pains are so unfair. I am praying that you will progress through this pregnancy with gentle changes that don’t overtax your body. The pregnancy is going to take its toll , but you are so brave and amazing when dealing with what is yours to manage, you will come out triumphant. The reward for all this will be your daughter. In the meantime no one does “ one day at a time” better than you. Bravo!

I'm telling you , your tummy is gonna get way way bigger and the baby will kick hard It's not always a pleasant feeling. You will have to sleep in odd positions to get comfortable here soon. You definitely want the pregnancy long tube 'U' shaped pillow. Mine was 12ft and it was a game changer. I'm glad you mentioned phantom pains in missing organs. I had a radical complete hysterectomy/oophorectomy 20 years ago and I still get phantom uterine or ovarian pain sometimes. It's not just exterior body parts it happens in. I know many women don't, but I think you are more susceptible if you had a lot of pain in those organs, thereby reinforcing neural pathways related to pain. That's just my theory though.

If you are planning on possibly breast-feeding or even pumping, you could purchase a few maternity breast-feeding tops to wear now. The styles don’t look maternity-ish and you can definitely wear them comfortably postpartum. They will give you access and whatever expansions you have in pregnancy will accommodate that. Some women just have their belly pop out and are skinny and all the other areas and other women just see seem to get big all over and it just has to do with how your heart and kidneys deal and your electrolytes and all the things it’s not about being fat or anything that the woman has done wrong unless you’re eating donuts 24/7 or some high carb habit. If your appetite gets bigger it’s because the baby wants more nutrition and I hope you can find high nutrient foods in the amounts that you can tolerate. This is the time to really focus on nourishing your sweet baby and I think you’re doing a great job of taking care of yourself and I will pray for you about your pain.

Love the wreath! As an amputee, using the term "phantom" to describe your rectum is totally valid and helps explain what you are feeling! Hope baby doesn't kick too hard, let's hope it's just a little dance, so you can feel her, but without all the discomfort! Sending all my live and best wishes, as always! 💜💫

Hi guys! I hate to tell you it goes faster as she’s born and hitting milestones. My last baby was 10 years after my second. I had severe rectal pain during labor. It wasn’t in my back or front just rectally. It was painful. I don’t know why it was like that but it wasn’t for my first two. I now have nerve damage in that area. Good luck and congratulations!!!!

Condolences to you and your family with the loss of your uncle. You need some guidance to shift, roll and lift to get out of those spots. As the area becomes tighter, it gets more challenging. Hopefully she doesn't try to stand up, but expect. You don't have a long waist so it makes sense she is pushing outward. Be thankful you aren't carrying more in the back. It's a different challenge. You look great

I still have my rectal stump, so not phantom rectum, but I still deal with a lot of tenesmus and such. I've had my ileostomy for 5 years exactly and even when I've gotten to a really good place with meds, I need to "go to the bathroom" to get mucus out at least once a day. About 8 weeks ago I switched my birth control (from progestin-only to combination) and I have no idea why but now I don't go at all. At first it was nice, but now the pressure/tenesmus down there is awful. I don't know if it's the estrogen, or that my adenomyosis is active again now, but it's been a trip.

I had similar phantom rectum flare up in my first pregnancy! I remember doing downward dog yoga helped a bit then it went away after a couple of weeks. I thought it's due my uterus being retroflexed but not sure about that, anyway it resolved on its own. Then further along my little ones tended to stay high up crushing my rib cage so I kind of wanted them to go down which they never did before around week 37-38 😂
