The fact that they didn't tell you about it in 2018 should be criminal negligence
@MaryamofShomal3 ай бұрын
It likely is. The amount of medical malpractice and wrongful d3ath in this country would make your blood boil. Add in the fact that our government spends more per capita on health care than any every developed country in the world, but not EVERY American has health care and not EVERY American has access to remotely decent health care - WHERE IS THAT MONEY ALL GOING?? I used to think that the ACA saved my life because it gave me health insurance even with my pre-existing condition (asthma since childhood), but now after 15 years: I see the foolish error of my ways. Every single interested party wrote parts of that health care legislation, from lobbyists for doctors to insurance companies to Big Pharma - everybody except for the American people. When our politicians in DC are this corrupt, We the People stand little chance at survival once we get sick, truly sick. I’m now dying at 41 due to many failures by many doctors at many hospitals, including two of the best in the country (in the SF Bay Area). But I’m also a lawyer. So I told my mom: “Pick anyone of these doctors and hospitals and sue TF out of them once I’m gone.” I became a lawyer to take care of my mom and sister financially for life, not only for 10 years. But you will find now that Americans today are often getting cancers that were rare in the 1980s and 1990s, especially for women and people under 60 years old. These greedy God-less globalist demons spent the last however many decades poisoning our foods and beverages, especially our foods, and that’s why we are all getting sick and many are dy|ng so young. This is why I voted for TRUMP. It’s the last good thing I’ll likely be able to do before I d|e. God bless each and every American who has been failed by our government and “(not) health (not) care” BUSINESS, just like this beautiful wife and mother Brittney has been 🙏🏽✝️🙏🏽 I pray that we’ve all come to Christ before our time comes 🙏🏽

One of my aunt's died in 2018 from Pancreatic Cancer at the age of 76. Her oldest daughter was diagnosed in October, 2023 and died that November. She had just turned 60 and it was a shock how fast it took her life. My mother passed away in 2023 at 79 and was an RN for nearly 40 years. She worked oncology/neurology for 10 of those years in a hospital. Anytime she would hear of anyone being diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer; she said 9 out of 10 it was a death sentence. @@Tiggys-worldYes, I also had the whipple surgery . I was diagnosed in jun 2022. Had whipple surgery Jul 2022. The tumor was im the head of my pancreas. The doctor was able to get all of my cancer but it returned in Feb 2023 as stage 4 to my liver. 2 ocology doctors, 1 at Emory and the other at city of Hope have said mothing else they can do for me but I'm on the chemo pill now for maintenance. I have reached out to MD Anderson cancer institute in Houston Texas. I went there for a consultation this past Dec and took my Oct 2024 latest CT scan. The doctor there said that when the tumor came back i looks to be small and the only reason why they put me at stage 4 is because it came back to my liver. He said he will set me up for another biospy and CT scan this month and if its the same size as the Oct CT scan which looks very small that he's willing to do radiation which is something I was NEVER offered all this time. He said I will have scar tissue on the liver but the cancer would be gone so at this point I'm willing to take that chance since I have no other options and feel like my last 2 doctors have given me no other hope. Please keep me in your prayers. Thank you.

Most cancers are not inherited. In this patient's case it might be, but generally, it just happens to people out of the blue or for other reasons. Smoking and drinking are known risk factors, but it also doesn't mean that people with no family history who never smoked or drank can't get it. Overall, though, it's best to reduce risk factors and smoking and drinking are risk factors for many cancers and other medical issues.

I' so very sorry for your loss.🙏🙏🙏 Pancreatic cancer is very hard to diagnos. I had lower back pain, acid reflux, upper right stomach pain and jaundice as well as constpation. I was already diagnosed with IBS nearly 10 years ago so i though my back pain and constipation IBS issues but suddenly the meds for IBS no longe worked. The stomach pain was so bad that i ended up in ER where my ezymes ..thats probably mispelled but were off the charts. I was then told that I had pancreatic cancer in jun 2022 stage 1. I had the whipple surgery jul 2022 where they were able to take off the head ofvmy pancreas, take out my gall bladder, a portion of my stomach and some of my small intestines. I no longer had cancer but it returned in Feb 2023 as stage 4 to my liver and the doctors still don't really don't know why I'm still here in 2025 and say my mutation is in a very rare form. Also said its a reasoning why i'm poasibly still here and I say but God. I am still in stage 4 and take a chemo pill daily because I've been to cancer doctors here in Atlanta at Emory as well as City of Hope here in ATL area, both great facilities but both claim they have done all they can do for me. I just took a trip to MD Anderson for consultation Dec 2024 to see what if anythung they can do to help me so it looks like they are willing to do radiation on me which is something both Emory and city of hope here has never done and told me that I was NOT eligible for. I am fighting with everything that I have. I have 1 child,, a son who is also my caretaker and 2 grands who I would like to see graduate high school. Plus, I"m retired military and would like to get my life back so that I can continue enjoying my retirement. Keep me in your prayers and Thank you.

I finally made it out but the cancer retirned Feb 2022 and I've been battling it every since. I'm stage 4 now and has been since it reurned in feb to my liver. She even had a history of pancreatic cancer in her family. How could they have not done an endoscopy, Ct scan , or ultrasound or something!!! Does anyone know if she was taking PPI’s ? Like Prilosec, Pepcid? She is a walking miracle.

Yes, I thought the same thing. Also, her children will need to be vigilant because they have pancreatic cancer on both sides of the family. I'm in a similar situation.

God Bless you Brittany. You still have some work down here to do! I am not surprised about the lack of info on her first CT scan. I too went in for a gangrenous gallbladder and while they focused on the gallbladder (rightly so) no one mentioned the IPMN at the pancreatic head affecting the main duct. I read my findings and asked my doctor what that was and was told it wasn't a big deal, people have them all the time. He never mentioned that a certain percentage could become malignant. With my family history of pancreatic cancer (lost two aunts) as various other kinds of cancer (mother and brother both died of C) ignoring it was a very bad idea. Having some issues now, and they are going to take a sample.

To God be the glory, for great and awesome things He has done and is still doing. My husband was diagnosed September 2021 with stage four pancreatic cancer , a week before I retired and he passed away June 10, 2022. It was not an easy journey but God prepared me and even today the loss is still great. My faith in God, support from family, friends and church family is helping me through this season. Each day I thank God for the time I had with my husband and that he is home with the Lord. To God be the Glory that you are cancer free today; you are blessed and highly favored.🙏🏾👏

I'm sooo very sorry for your loss. 🙏🙏🙏 I too was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer Jun 2022, stage 1. I had whipple surgery Jul 2022. They got all the cancer out but sadly it returned Feb 2023 to my liver and state 4. I've been fighting it every since and did'nt know that I would make it to see 2025. The doctor says I have a very rare mutation and thats its probably the reason I'm still here but also told me there is nothing else they can do but put me in maintenance and give me weekly chemo pills. I'm puting all of my trust in God. Again, I'm very sorry for your loss. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I think you are blessed and I am happy for your outcome. While listening to your story this thought came to me. I know how bad pancreatic cancer is because my sister lost her battle with it. The thought that came to me is that maybe through your pregnancy in 2018 that your daughters cells helped your body fight the cancer in making the protective large tumor to keep most of the cancer cells within it so it wouldn’t spread to other parts of your body.

I’m crying now near the end of your video. I’m so happy for you that that large mass was only stage 1. I’m so disappointed in your docs in 2018 that didn’t catch the mass and tell you about it. It could have been taken care of then! My mom died of pancreatic cancer. No symptoms; her stool went white; she became diabetic; she did chemo, then radiation and that’s what killed her. She developed pneumonia and was dead in three months after diagnosis. She was 88. You have a full life ahead of you. Thank God!

My husband died 10 years ago at the age of 41 from pancreatic cancer. He was stage 3b when diagnosed and lived 13 months total. He also had an aunt that died 6 months from diagnosis. He too was 1st diagnosed as acid reflux through urgent care. After further testing he was diagnosed. He had the whipple procedure and did 7 months of chemo and a few months of radiation before it spread to his liver and stomach and he was diagnosed terminal from there. God definitely has His hands on you. Fulfill your God-given purpose. Be blessed. 🙏🏾

Ive been gaving health issues for the past few years, and have had numerous ultrasounds, CT scans and an MRI. On this last CT scan (third one in the past year) the radiologist reading this scan mentioned an area in my liver that he recommended getting a liver MRI. He also said "it was consistent with the other two CT scans and findings". No one told me this the last two scans, nor was it listed in my health portal. I have to have an ultrasound in 6 months to see if its stable. To say I was suprised was an understatement. This is an incidental finding as I'd been having gynecological pain and ended up having a hysterectomy.

This story is similar to my daughter’s. She was told the same thing about acid reflux and indigestion.. She had CT found the tumor but her oncologist told her he did not think it was pancreas cancer because her age which was 32 at the time and her blood count was good.. Had the biopsy and come back stage 2.. Went through chemo to shrink the tumor but the location was on a main artery. She lived 2 and half years

I read your comment. I too was diagnosed jun 2022 of pancreatic cancer. Its very difficult to diagnos and many times diagnosed when its too late to do anything about it. I had lower back pain, stomach pain, jaudice, right upper stomach pain in the liver area and constipation, no vomiting aa this lady on here said she had. For nearly 3 weeks I was running around going back and forth to CVS on my own trying to cure myself based on my symptoms. I had been diagnosed with IBS about 10 years earlier so I was having many of the same type of symptoms. Anyways, my IBS meds suddenly no longer worked and nothing I bought in CVS worked so I ended up in ER. From there they admitted me, my enzymes were all out of wack so they admitted me and over a 5 day period ran all types of test. First they said it was my bile duct. They told me it was not cancerous but my admitting GASTRO doctor referred me to anorher specialist AFTER I was released from the hospital and that doctor did yet another biospy. I was then told that it was definitely pancreatic cancer, stage 1 and that i would need to have surgery right away. I've had the whipple surgery in jul 2022 which was right away after being diagnosed but the cancer returned feb 2022 and because they say I have a rare mutation is why the doctor saa I'm still here andI say but God. I take a chemo pill every day now and I'm preparing to uproot and go to MD Anderson here soon, later this month or feb for radiation which doctors here say I was never a candidate for once it came back stage 4.
