If you want to go for tankers, Schneider is a much better option than Prime, or so I've heard.

Prime flatbedder here -- can confirm, we're fucked. My fleet manager even admitted freight is terribly low and said "Don't expect things to get better anytime soon" Currently flirting with other FLATBED companies that run cpm because with a lease and the way freight is -- I'm working for the truck, not vice versa.

@@dennisstorie4604 Not saying what? Read the comments. Just because one guy’s doing fine doesn’t mean his business unit is. Also, there’s always lag time on this stuff. Contracts are let on an annual basis and even spot market could take a few weeks to sort out. Ever notice that load numbers aren’t sequential when you run them? The sequence is based on when the carrier put it in their system. But it could be a load picking up in 36 hours or 36 days.

@@renesanchez2210 Schneider has hoppers? Schneider/JBH aren’t really just OTR companies. They’re truly logistics. They’re moving more boxes per day on trains than Prime has trailers. This is just a theory but I watch a lot of trucking vids. I've been thinking of getting my cdls. But I think they give y'all guys that make content a hard time if you ruffle feathers in the industry. My brother has been a driver for a long time and he said these brokers are friends with carriers and carriers are brokers and wearhouses are brokers and dispatchers and they all do business with each other and make money on the side. He said that you have to watch the dispatchers that work for carriers but own trucks and have people drive for them
