Paul George isn't so bad. When healthy, he's quite solid, and he does play a bit. Bronny is high, but it's part of Lebrons contract. Lebron+ Bronny combined isn't overpaid. I'm still hoping Simmons gets his confidence back. As someone who has an impinged nerve in my lower back, I'm still giving him the benefit of the doubt because, honestly, it's one of the most frustrating injuries I've ever had. I can sit all day in a car or computer chair and barely notice it, but sit on a plastic chair for 15 minutes, and I can't straighten my back. I can run, jog and jump. Work a full day physically etc no worries. But can't lift on certain angles or do a sit up and push ups hurt.

Ant is also leading the league in 3 pointers made per game so his 3p% is on high volume of shots too. Wolves issue is they have no offense outside Ant if Randle goes cold and he's very inconsistent whereas KAT is relatively consistent as a scoring threat. Should have traded KAT for wing depth and some bench scoring like a Malik Beasley or such and moved Naz into the 4 to cut salary. Or suffered the salary issue and tried to renegotiate some salary cuts such as Gobert did.

Kat doesn’t get enough credit for how he adapted his game last year to make having Rudy on that roster work. Them getting Rudy put them in a bind because it meant they had to trade Kat. The reality is they probably should have traded Kat AND have never picked up Rudy, because Rudy, at best, can get you to a second round exit, because teams in the playoffs will just spam pick and roll until he can’t even be on the floor anymore. Kat is the same deal-his rim protection and overall defense is poor enough that he caps your team out at a 2nd round exit in the west. Also, Julius Randle isn’t a winning basketball player. He has never bought in to playing defense his whole career. He’ll only start playing defense if he’s in a contract year. Let’s be honest-I.e., next season.

I watched the Wolves play the Celtics. Randell was like a black hole. When the ball went to him it rarely ever left him. It didn't matter who was on him, weather he was on the block or in the corner, his team mates just watched him do his thing. After the trade they were top 10, in kyrie and luka last 16 regular season games before resting the last 2 they were number 1, in the playoffs they were a top 5 defense, and in the finals the Celtics had a offensive rating of 112 which is a bottom 5 offense which is equivalent to the wizards, their worst offensive series was by far against Dallas, Dallas offensive rating was just 108 though which would rank the worst. Jason Kidd as a coach at least on the defensive end is a amazing coach knowing how to scheme even with luka and kyrie on the floor, his offense as a coach needs work though.

It’s pretty clear both Randle and especially DiVincenzo do not want to be there. The former was playing the best ball of his career in NY and had been living and building a family there for a while now, while the latter had his 3 college buddies there and was coming off handily the best season of his career. Now the Knicks aren’t knocking the doors off anybody yet (they’re accustomed to slow starts in the Thibs era anyway), but at the very least KAT has been elite and clearly loves being there. If Timberwolves fans want to blame anybody for this situation beyond Glen Taylor, blame Isaiah Hartenstein. Had he taken less money to stay with the Knicks, very good chance they don’t make a trade for KAT.

They don’t trust Rudy with ball on offense, they just want him to rebound on both ends of floor and catch Los. So if you don’t trust your center, you don’t get him involved. What does he do? He take it into his own hands score and break the offense play down , you gotta be able to trust and feed your big man. Just like everybody else. Get to touch the ball. He has to touch the ball too. You gotta put everybody in rhythm. And Minnesota has a big problem with that.
