As seen in the video, the spark plug cap and cable should be the problem. The spark plug cap broke because it is worn out and does not work properly when wet. It will work normally when dry. Replace the cap and cable, but when you change it, replace the spark plug. Good luck for the rest of the trip

It sounds like a spark issue. The engine cutting out could be a slight crack the spark plug boot and the rainy weather makes it arc to the frame/top of engine instead of to the spark plug. Solution, wrap plug lead with electrical tape. Hope that helps 🇦🇺🤙🏼

Rain=problems, problems=rain. Therefore electrical. Untraceable in the dry unfortunately. Spark boots, kill switch, side stand, brake light, brake lever and all in-between. Good suggestions all. Fingers crossed for you Marc.

Not a fuel problem, most probably electrical. Ethanol takes a longer time to cause problems.

Great video! And yes Olives are Super bitter straight from the tree. In order to be ready for consumption they have to be "cured", they are left on warm water for some days then cut a little and tempered with salt and some herbs in order to become pleasant to eat.

Start the motorcycle in a very dark place, and look around the coils and spark plugs for "electrical arcs", If you don't see any, look around all the wires you can see. You might have cracked insulation on a wire (quite possible on a bike this age). This is the more likely cause since it happened in the rain, which would amplify a latent problem. I would also check for a clogged fuel filter or defective fuel valve from the tank, but it seems more like an ignition problem.

Had a similar problem in rain 20 years ago with an old Honda Fireblade. That time it was the side stand sensor/connector. Also check that battery cables are not loose at the battery just to make sure!

For sure its not the fuel,check the wirering connecters and spray with w40,a common Honda issue

Water in the gas. Remember, fuel is lighter so water in the tank or carb bowls will be drawn into the carbs first. Flush the tank and bowls.

Bottom of carb. Is a large nut. It's the drain. Open fuel petcock and catch in a bottle to get fuel sample!!
