I loved The Half of It. I'd highly recommend Never Have I Ever. It's a Mindy Kaling produced Netflix series. I watched it in a day and just started rewatching it because I loved it that much.

I don't usually chime in on the comments section, but you MUST watch Your Lie In April! It is only about 24 episodes long and it was so beautiful and heart wrenching that it has stuck with me ever since I watched it. I've now picked up the first manga and can't wait to sit down and enjoy it!

I've been watching a real variety of shows! I finally got to the final season of "Jane the Virgin" which is great - a perfect mix of a telenovela with some real life events. It's light-hearted but not too much, it's perfect for quarantine times. Also - making a steady dent in "Money Heist" which I'm trying not to binge (gosh, it's so exciting!) and rewatching "The Borgias" with my sister who has never seen it before to get my costume drama fix. ;)

OMG THE CARRIAGE HAND! I love when other people freak out over it too! My husband watched P&P back before we even started dating so he could say he'd watched it and we could talk about it (not that he understood the hype at all). What a man. Haha. Lately my anime obsession has been Fruits Basket (the new one that started in 2019). It is just so heartwarming but also has lots of emotionally dark moments. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I have a lot of feelings about it. Lol. I also binged Too Hot To Handle and Love is Blind. I have no idea how many times I yelled at my TV over those shows. And Outlander. Oh God, Outlander. The "ship" to end all "ships!" Also, do not give in! Stay strong! Clay's curls must stay!

I binged “upload” on amazon prime this weekend and really enjoyed it!! I really hope they continue the series. It’s set in 2033 and there are self driving cars and all of this new technology. People have discovered a way to “upload” their subconscious into a virtual world so they can live on after they die, however they need to do it prior to the persons actual death. Which I think is a very cool concept, but there is also this mystery around the main character and his death and a bit of a love story going on too. I thought it was pretty light hearted and quirky but also had some heavier topics.

Have you watched the “Normal People” adaptation on Hulu? I loved it, thought it was so beautifully done. But I wish I watched it slower, it was a bit heavy so taking it all in at once was a bit much 😅 I would totally recommend it!

I love James Bond movies... However I haven't seen the news ones. But once a year for one weekend when I was younger, my mom and brother would have a James Bond marathon. I love the movie Pride and Prejudice. And of course Naruto as well but I haven't seen in so long. As for the tv shows I really don't watch any beside food ones or home improvement ones. My tv shows days have ended since I had kids. So the shows I would watch is like years old ones. You two are so cute. I agree with you on Clay hair. Love the video.

I just rewatched Fleabag. One of those shows where the second season is better than the first, which is saying a lot because the first season is fantastic. Definitely recommend that if you haven't seen it yet (or if you have--watching it again is a great idea, I can attest). I just started Unorthodox on Netflix. I'm only one episode in (of four), but I'm super into it.

I’m watching Mrs America on Hulu I feel like you’d really like it. I’m having fun watching since my mom fought for the ERA also, so I’ve heard so many stories about that period in the 70s. Definitely gonna have my mom over to watch together once the pandemic lifts. Buts it’s really well done. I recommend.

If you haven’t seen it or if it’s not on your watchlist you should check out Attack on Titan! I love it so much. There’s season one on Netflix but Hulu has all three seasons! It’s dark but has an amazing story, really detailed world building, great character development and is just really visually pleasing.

I jumped on the Tiger King train and have been thoroughly amused with that. Also started watching Fargo season 1 which is absolutely amazing. A must watch for sure. For anime I've been doing a rewatch of Neon Genesis Evangelion which is a classic that if you have never watched you guys should definitely put that on the list of anime. Plus it's short so you can get through it quickly unlike longer series like Naruto.

In one of your reading vlogs a little while ago, you mentioned listening to a record by The Backseat Lovers, & since then I've listened to it most days so thank you for that! I'd recommend checking out Never Have I Ever on Netflix, which I'm flying through and it's so good (there's like 10 half hour episodes so won't take you long!) If you want something light and like Mindy Kaling then you'll love it.

Ya'll might like The Sopranos if you can find a place to watch it! I have never seen The Americans, but I have heard they have some similarities. The Sopranos is an older show so it starts out a bit slower than television shows today, but give it until like episode three or four and it really picks up. It's probably in my top 5 favorite shows of all time!

I binged Superstore (it's an sitcom from NBC, I think). I watched all 4 seasons and caught up to the last one in a matter of 3 weeks, I guess. I'm also watching See (from Applee TV) for Jason Momoa reasons. Lastly, I'm hoping to start Father Brown, which is a British detective series, very Agatha Christie-esque from what I heard, that has a priest as a protagonist! It has 8 seasons, I think (so it probably has only 25 episodes, After all, it's British TV). Also, I'm doing a ton of reading, in spite of all this TV I'm consuming. I read 11 books last month, which doesn't happen to me (I'm a slow reader).

Hey, loved The Half of It also! Loved how they handled everything in a really delicate sincere way. Only thing I didn't enjoy was the climax scene in teh church, didn't think it fit the rest of the movie tonally. I've watched the Halycon (Set in WW2 in a hotel) , Soundtrack (family/domestic drama with dance numbers) , Never Have I Ever (I'd say give it 2-3 episodes before you judge it), Westworld and Normal People (amazing, one of the best book adaptions I've seen on AGES).

You should definitely watch Fullmetal Alchemist: brotherhood! It has a really intricate plot that kept surprising me, with great worldbuilding and a bunch of characters you really want to root for. (If your taste in books is any indication, I think you'll love it)
