I was bedridden and recovering from surgery for the past two years and literally dreaded getting dressed even for doctor's visits. Love your picks , they are timeless and so chic. The way you pair vintage, high end, mid range etc is something that can’t be taught. You have a great eye for standout pieces that’s why you can make the cream parachute pants so chic, not many can pair looks the way you do. Ditto on everything mentioned (minus designer specifics). I have totally tried the hack for bring in the waist of my thrifted trousers after you provided the information on a video and it so worked for me. This is layering season and Karen is great at doing this and she totally shines. Past couple of days we have been in the 20s and warming up to high 30F, so it coat weather for this once southern gal. Midi/maxi jean skirts have always existed in my wardrobe because of the insulation of denim material it is one skirt I would wear for winter. I am going to try to keep the silky texture skirts out but If I find that wearing them exposes my whoo ha to the cold they will be packed and sprung for spring. Glad to see that you have recovered and back to your brit chic self. A few years back we were taken along with Karen in search of the perfect camel color wool mid/maxi coat and every time she would mention the subject she would pop up the picture of hump day mascot, it took awhile but she was presistant and it finally paid off at a vintage shop in NY. The coat was love at first sight, when it came into camea shot I knew unless major moth damage she was taking it home, I think she actually exhaled (lol). I think I got it pretty much covered of things mention here for Fall in my existing inventory. I just got to get current closet switch out and unpacked current season bins and switch out. Would love a styling vests video. I love vests and have so, so many. I love a long dress for winter too because you can fit so many layers under it. It has to be double digit below zero in MN before I give up on skirts/boots/tights...Literally wearing a Pucci silk dress under a chunky sweater as I type this! My weird fall fabric right now is linen as an under layer. It's so comfortable, it keeps me the perfect temperature and it's not as itchy as wool. I have a white linen shirt that I'm wearing under lots of outfits right now like Mr. Darcy.

Firstly I love that you get as excited about shopping your existing wardrobe like I do - I don't think the little girl in me has ever stopped playing dress up, its so good for the soul! i picked up some huge men’s parachute type cargos last year from Banana Republic and bought canvas utility belts from amazon to cinch in the elastic waist - get compliments all day long
