Awesome Karen, play on playa, I have learned so much from your videos and TIK TOK shorts and Instagram. I am a plus size girl, and sometimes it can be hard to find my "wish list'. But I decided to just throw away my own "plus" restrictions, and try on everything. I feel at times that people hold "clothing items" as a banner to shame. But not you. I literally restructured my whole closet, (at the advice of your video about purging your closet) I am buying pieces I love regardless of whatever the "current" style. I make sure they fit me and enhance me. I don't want to spend recklessly on clothes anymore, they aren't that important, but I will buy those pieces that I will wear all the time because they make me happy. Your clothing choices make you happy and I appreciate that.

The Ouest apron pants are really cool. I noticed them in your previous vlog. From Nice Piece Vintage, it's great that you bought that black coat with the strips. It looked as if it were made for you. Perfection. The long black tuxedo coat is also beautiful. And I absolutely love the vintage brown belt with all of the studs. Paris has really good vintage and regular resale-type boutiques. One that I used to go to was Didier Ludot in the Jardin du Palais Royal on the Right Bank and also to quite a few nice shops on the Left Bank as I'm a Left Bank person and usually stay in the 6th. Yikes.... about the boot in Milan getting stuck on your foot. You're lucky you didn't pop your knee as I once did when I pulled off one of my cowboy boots and didn't use my boot jack. It was late at night, I was tired, and pulled the boot off and pop went the knee. Torn medial meniscus. I've had boot jacks for decades. My dad and granddad had boot jacks and I only buy the wooden ones trimmed in suede. I keep two at home and one in my car and when I go shopping for boots, I have it with me. Cavender's has boot jacks for as low as $17.00 as I have two of them. And Old Gringo carries 5 decorative ones of which I have the Sintra model for $65.00. As for buying handbags in Europe, I agree with that one as (pre-pandemic), I was going to Paris nearly annually for decades and would wait to purchase my handbags there. My first (European) high end handbag was my Louis Vuitton Chantilly crossbody (1980) which I bought from my regular LV store on the Avenue Marceau. By the time the detaxe was added, the bag was less than $200. I bought it as a birthday gift to myself for my then upcoming 25th birthday. I still have the photo of me standing in front of the LV store with the bag and also wearing my Norma Kamali short leopard-print pencil skirt and matching tank-style top. The wild and crazy days. I grew up in the 70s lived in platform's (still have a pair of platform wooden sandals) and those platform boots are amazing. Retired and can not afford all that luxury but hey I get ideas for outfits watching you that are in my price range. With tweaking for an old gal. I agree quality is important. My ancient LV bags are still around 20 years later and not falling apart and my granddaughter will be taking those. I know when I started watching your channel it was just for the pure entertainments of watching someone with standout style. I am very classic so whilst I dont model myself on your style I. Just like watching. And originally your selections from vintage shops/ thrifting / high street would have appealed to a very wide audience. If there are some sour grapes in the comments about luxury items it might be because people feel left behind or dont relate to that level of financial commitment to fashion. Personally I enjoy watching your style evolve and obviously you are doing well money wise as you dont shy away form a luxury purchase.
