I completely agree about the always pan. I used to love mine but after a year i stopped loving it. Not worth it. Also minority opinion here: Shark cordless vacuums are better than Dyson in my opinion at half the price point lol. Has more suction power!

Oh, the Adidas Samba - I completely relate. I succumbed to the hype and bought the same pair while in New York because everyone was wearing them. However, once I returned to London, I quickly sold them. They were uncomfortable, my foot kept slipping out, and they didn't complement any of my outfits, despite my love for the sage colour.

I splurged on a Dyson Outsize when it was on sale 2 years ago and it is one of the best purchases I’ve ever made! I went from vacuuming once in a blue moon to vacuuming nearly daily, and it’s completely replaced sweeping for me as well because it works great on hard floors. They’re expensive but they are so worth it. I also got a small kindle as a birthday gift from my husband a couple of years ago. I was always a physical book person, too, but now I’m a total convert! They get pretty marked down on Amazon during their Prime days, so it’s easy to get a good deal.

As another Canadian that lives in a snowbelt region on the coast of Georgian Bay, the knee length coat is THE MOVE. No short parka can compete. You simply need a big ass long parka for winters here. Great budget options for Canadians include Colombia or Borealis (the Sail brand).

Totally agree about the Sambas. Luckily I resisted and when my friend bought it (we are the same size) I tried them I found them very uncomfortable and really too flat. It’s okay if you have no issues at all with your ankles, meaning even little lymphatic swelling. I adore to see them on the others anyway.

Omg, I love the sambas. Agreed that they aren't the most comfy, but they have a slim profile which works well with dresses and wide leg pants. It's a great alternative to more chunky New Balance sneakers. I have both and love both.

I purchased 4 of the various sizes of the Always pans...I totally regret it. I got the clay pink color and the backs are already discoloring. For the cost they should have been made to stand up to high heat. It is what it is and lesson learned. I also have another huge regret buying a RH dupe for the Cloud sofa...the one I ordered online with great reviews has feather quills that are always poking out. It is annoying and such a waste of money.

I work for a company that works very closely with dyson. Unfortunately dyson vacuums (over other brands) are returned the most. I also own a few and can speak on experience: over time the stand vacuums (any one with the balls) have issues with the carpet bar (burnout of motors) and the cordless has issues with the batteries (although here’s a hack, you can use power tool batteries that are compatible like dewalt, Milwaukee, etc)

Looove this video and you actually focusing on practicality of those products. Definitely agree about dyson vacuum. I had what I thought was a great vacuum until my mother in law got one and I tested it. It saved me at least 10mins of time per session and lifted ALL the cat hair out of carpet. I used to vacuum my carpet for ever and stll brushed it out once a month to get all the pet hair out of it. Now I quickly go over it with dyson and it’s perfect.

It looks so sleek and you could actually see the chain on Taylor's neck from far away. I looked at that chain for MONTHS on the Catbird site, and finally pulled the trigger for Black Friday. It is easy to get influenced to buy things. On UGGs. I agree with you. We are here in Ontario. My girls are in the 30s now they have been wearing UGG for almost 20 years. I never allowed them to wear their UGGs in the snow. They have their winter boot versions as well, Along with their Sorels, and Pajor.. I learned that the UGG’s is an inside shoe. They are worn in the outback in Australia, inside the home for the cold nights. It looks so weird in places in Italy etc where they are wearing UGGS and fur coats etc. and the temperature is 6 Celsius. Almost summer here. They are Fashion victims lol

Comment on being "influenced". My husband and I made the commitment to "talk through" any impulse purchases with each other in the last year and it just really cut down on impulse/influenced buys. Just taking the time to talk to someone about the item and why you want it often makes you realize you don't actually need that thing.

Ok, so I have to say this about Uggs. I am an Australian, so to me, uggs are slippers. I have never understood why you would wear them as anything else. They are not designed to be worn outside (no amount of different designs will convince me differently) unless you are in sweats and going to pick up milk from the corner shop. So I completely believe that they would not hold up in the snow. If you want some uggs, get them to wear around the house as they were originally designed for, you'll be so glad you did.

Hey Jamie, do you have other Adidas that you love?? When I was looking for a tennis shoe for a Europe trip,, I almost bought the Adidas Court shoe but the person helping me said for lots of walking he recommended inserts. I felt like I shouldn’t have to buy inserts to be able to wear a shoe. So I went with New Balance. I have still been eyeballing the Adidas shoes just for the look though but wondering if they would be comfortable. Not necessarily the Sambas, but like the Court ones.
