i said that a while ago! i was a server for about a year and i said being a real estate agent is like being a server except with houses instead of food 😂

can you explain the process of being a residential agent but having a commercial lead and working with a commercial mentor what is the commission split?
@patmagic33012 жыл бұрын
Key factor “family business”. You have to be able to do it full time so that means your depending on someone else to pay the bills in the meantime. The stereotype is true, it’s something to do for those who depend on a spouse for medical insurance and security when times are bad (like it will be for the foreseeable future). Transactions have decreased by 50% in most hot markets so those 10% of agents are now fighting for 1/2 the deals being done. The agents I knew in Las Vegas in 2006 are all working in casinos now.

I didn't know that about brokerages but I do remember seeing 2 friends who became agents and realizing that they switched brokerages within the first year. I never asked why. Great video.

The best investment one can do right now is investing on real estate though stocks are good but ever since I swapped to real estate, I've seen so much difference.

Thank you!!!! This is super helpful. I’m going to get those book right now! I appreciate the transparency you gave… a few examples of what we might come up against with the unprofessionals you mention would be great (better than getting surprised by it for sure) and help make sure we don’t do it of course!

If you don't mind my recommending two books, the first is Never Split the Difference by Chris Voss. Voss was a former FBI hostage negotiator and the book is great. The second book would be The Full Fee Agent, by Chris Voss and Steve Shull. Also a great book.

I hope you can reply to this question, I'm currently taking a course for real estate and im currently on the topic of measurements and knowing the Are, Volume, Square footage etc. How often do real estate agents actual have to use that when you actually become an agent? Because it seems pretty intimidating right now trying to remember this stuff. thanks in advance!

Does it matter what you drive as a real estate agent? And do you meet the buyer at the first home and then you drive them around to all the properties you will be showing them or can you make a video on that process ? And safety precautions?? I don’t know if I am over thinking it 😅 I am thinking of getting into this industry ,but i don’t have the best car ! I have 2009 Chevy Malibu 😅 I am young but I think i Can afford a new car, can you touch base on this topic ? Please and thank you and just want to say thank you as well because you are such an inspiration!💗😊

Hey girl! Honestly what you drive isn't too important, and when you work with buyers you don't take them in your car you always meet them at the houses. As a woman I always take a male agent with me for the first meeting for safety. Hope this helps :)

Although we don’t drive our clients around as much these days, your vehicle is a reflection of yourself and your clients will likely be following your vehicle to many properties. Just some food for thought.

Watching here in Oregon. I love this video. I'm literally about to dive into your account Lol. I just wanted to let you know I am thankful for this information, I'm absolutely terrified to move forward as a real estate agent. My heart is in my stomach but I'm so excited. email any brokerage near you. They walk you through the process, and if they don't, that's how you know they aren't your brokerage.
