Definitely resonate with the delayed love. I loved her always but didnt really feel the strong connection with her till she really started smiling around the 2 month mark

Yeah I think once she started being able to recognize you and there was more you could do to comfort her, the connection started happening. Now you love her very much 🥰

I know you probably already thought about this. But if you are going to have a babysitter, definitely have nanny cams. Also, I agree with all of these tips. The one I try to stress to every new mom is, I believe, the number 3 you mentioned. Time is such a thief, like you said, and it goes by so fast. My kids are teenagers, and I miss them being babies so much. I felt like I blinked, and here we are. Charlie is so sweet and precious. 🤍

I know, I feel like its already going so fast and just wish time would slow down. Great call on the nanny cams, I will definitely look into getting those before we start using a babysitter!

I like the quote “if you want kids, it’s a dream come true. If you don’t want kids, it’s a nightmare.” So while I may be the only woman who doesn’t want kids who watches your channel, just wanted to share that I don’t think the love ALWAYS comes for the baby. And it’s important that women really think through what they actually want in life before deciding to have children. If you don’t want kids, but have one maybe because your partner wants one or because you think it’s the next thing you should do in life… the love for the baby could very well not come. Most women don’t realize having kids is a choice and you do not have to do it if you don’t want to. I didn’t realize this til I was 30. 30!!!!! So I’m a little passionate about spreading the word. I watch and enjoy all your videos even the ones about motherhood! Your daughter is adorable.

Totally fair! I definitely didn’t intend this video to be a message of “everyone should have babies it’s great and you’ll love them” haha. More so just wanted to lend some insight to those who are already pregnant or who do want to become parents one day. Thanks for the feedback! ☺️

Hi Jess 🙂 Strangely I don't have too much Mum experience but I like watching your channel and seeing how you are doing. Charlie is lovely 👶.

Denture tablets soaked in a bucket of warm water with white keep them bright. Also don't use fabric softener on towels

It's so hard because you can tell people some of these things till their ears bleed and you don't truly get it until you're in it. In my current phase I need to remember that my toddler is a baby and not a developed child when we're suffering through tantrums and arguments and meltdowns. It's rough out here in the toddler world 😅

Definitely agree! Yeah toddler life is hard because they’re starting to understand the world well but don’t fully know how to communicate emotions yet. At least you know it’s normal 🫶🏼
