Things I wish my F150 had standard

I have to say, I agree with you on the auto-dimming mirror and backup camera in particular. I REALLY wanted to get an F150 XL, as all I wanted was a bare-bones base-model full-size truck, but the one thing I need is the auto-dimming mirror, and as you say, at that price point, it's something they should include. Heck, you can get a base-model Honda Civic with an auto-dimming mirror, so why not a 40k truck? Because of this, plus a few other things, I decided on the Nissan Frontier SV V6, with the value truck package. It gives me a very light tan interior, which I really wanted, the shift is on the center console, which I far prefer, it has a V6, and the VTP adds the auto-dimming mirror and backup camera.

I just picked up a 2017 xl stx crewcab for 40k and it has the back up camera the tinted windows center console with 20 inch rims and the 8" touch screen.., and I love it!!!

My XL reg.cab. 16' is an special order, I know the feelings of buying a new car and missing stuff from your older model thats why I order my f150, I didn't want the xlt price but there was a lot of opcion that I have to get. RearV cam, trailer back up assistance, electronic locking 3:73 gears on the 2.7, heated ext mirrors, tail gate step, sport pkg, auto dim mirrors, spot light ext mirrors and the color ingot mettalic. the bad is the wait 6 month but it was worth it. Msrp 32k dealer discount 3k so I pay 28 on January and I'll order the next time again (if I can).

I actually just bought a 2016 xlt and it came with a touch screen (no navigation) with a fairly big screen with the back up camera
