As a sub, I hate/avoid going thru yalls desks, if I do, it's only to find something to write a sub note and a pen to write with! Seen some other subs try and steal teachers candy and snacks, like girl, no! That ain't yours!

I once subbed in a class with no lesson plans. I called the office and the admin came in to help. She looked at the board and said the lesson plans are on the board. All it said was complete pages ___. I was like ummmm that's it? She was said "he's been teaching for 30 years, so I pick my battles " 😂

Making decisions!!! Used to drive me nuts when I got home and my husband wanted to know where I wanted to eat out. He thought he was being nice in letting me decide; I had to explain to him that I had just made 10,000 decisions that day and didn’t want to make another one. I didn’t want to be the One In Charge for a few blissful hours.

😂😂. Baby yes and I’m just an assistant teacher. But I work with special education. And we don’t get a substitute in our classroom for some reason 🙄. If it’s two of us in there that’s ok for them. I get called out if I put one ounce of food in my mouth 🤣

PJ day has me deciding how much do I want to eat to face going out like that. The coffee part had to learn to drink fast because is important when dealing with class of one year olds and parents who don't listen. Community food is so true lol label if you don't want it eaten. Instead, of new student coming to my class I want certain ones to leave! they test my tolerance every day.

Lesson plans for a sub can take hours to create when your sick. This is why I have universal sub plans that need very little changes throughout the year. All I have to do is gather the worsheets. I also have emergency plans for five days incase I need to be out and cant get the worsheets together. Work smart people. Lesson plans shouldnt have to hurt.
