You are a GEM to these internet sites OKAY!!!! Your JOB as a digital creator is complex. When you think about it, you’re a maven in an industry that has no handbook telling you how to manage your career. Thanks for being honest about who you are when you shut the camera off. It’s nice to see black women just being human. Wearing a cape 24/7 does us a disservice because it doesn’t allow us to just exist. Xoxo

Thank you! 💥 🙏🏾You are speaking real TRUTH! I was just talking with my daughter yesterday whom is in Her 20's, regarding your points in this video. She woke me up to her true would and how the effects of social media, has disconnected them from the environment and other people is real! ) It is so sad to say the least. Its like a distraction while something more sinister is going on behind the scenes. However, this is profecy. We are in the end times. I redirected her conclusions and her peace was restored. It is essential that we don't look to the social media, and others for happiness and fulfillment! Loving yourself must come within. Start with praying. The Most High God is the only spirit we can obtain fulfillment!🙏🏾 Fight and find your peace beautiful young people. like scripture says... "It passes all understanding ". ♥️

I love listen to you speak about your self love journey and I can totally relate to what you are at in your journey . I’m 17 years old and I thought I lost my self for a while I was unhappy I felt like i didn’t know who I was and I was so confused until one day I sat down and I thought about why I felt the way that I did so I wrote down what I loved about my self and that’s what drew me in closer going through darkness into light.

My dear friends find God❤️ this generation lacking the truth and who’s the truth God. The music that’s being promoted and people are like yeah I need to be like “da baby” or I need to be like “the city girls” or “church girl get loose” so imma get loose what Beyoncé said to me. But are we Beyoncé? No. Than boom we lose ourselves because we open ourself to so many things God tries to tell us to not because he is a loving father that wants to protect us but yet we choose things that does not even matter and make it a big thing like she mentioned “I need to skydive” so it’s a lot going on in the world you are not alone and I feel like God is missing. I’m not perfect myself but I’m working on my relationship with God because the truth is in the Book “Bible”
@bellahorris71652 жыл бұрын
This all depends on religion if it is the same as Christianity or Catholic and etc please read but if different or not having a religion you don’t have to read my( lastly not trying to force anything or push it I just what to share and help you and tell you thing you may not know) Sharing the message Please don’t say God’s name in Vain it means your saying his name has no purpose or he doesn’t mean anything please say oh my gosh Also please don’t believe in Zodiacs their not supposed to tell you who you are you find yourself it is also a sin to God also please do not believe in luck DONT say it to others it means your saying God DIDNT plan it for you Also DONT say karma as luck DONT say it to others this saying is also a Sin as luck is karma this also goes for things like yoga and etc it is not Christian nor Biblical though others have different religions if you have Christian or Catholic religion please listen Ex:Christians should not believe in karma because the sum of people's works does not decide whether they are saved or not. Only faith in Jesus Christ saves people from condemnation. Through God's grace, Christians are gifted a relationship with Jesus instead of the death they deserve. lastly DONT curse it dishonors God and is also a sin Ex: “Ephesians 4:29 Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.”also DONT lie. "thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour"; for this reason, lying is generally considered a sin in Christianity. Pride is often considered a negative force in human existence-the opposite of humility and a source of social friction. It's even been called the “deadliest sin.” ... Pride makes us feel good, and it's an indication to ourselves that we are behaving in a way congruent with the values of our society. DONT say that someone or yourself is ugly it means your saying your DONT like the way God made you but he made you that way for a reason.” Also please do not believe in fortune tellers or any type of magic magic because God has been planning for your future also The Bible tells you and warns you of Witchcraft and more like fortune telling, and necromancy this is what the devil uses these things did not come from God, (by the way Their is one true living God not gods) and example in the Bible is Deuteronomy 18:9-12 “When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, do not learn to imitate the detestable ways of the nations there.”“Let no one be found among you who sacrifices their son or daughter in the fire, who practices divination or sorcery, interprets omens, engages in witchcraft,”“or casts spells, or who is a medium or spiritist or who consults the dead.”“Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord; because of these same detestable practices the Lord your God will drive out those nations before you.” As You can see this is very serious and you must not mess with this and was punishable by death in the Mosaic Law. Example: Exodus 22:18 NIV ““Do not allow a sorceress to live.” Example: Leviticus 20:27 NIV ““ ‘A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.’ ”” Another example is this: 1 Chronicles 10:13 NIV “Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord; he did not keep the word of the Lord and even consulted a medium for guidance,” GOT QUESTION MINISTRIES: ”Engaging in a practice or taking a substance to achieve an altered state of consciousness is a form of witchcraft. This can bring demonic spirits.. “For rebellion is like the sin of divination, and arrogance like the evil of idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, he has rejected you as king.”” 1 Samuel 15:23 NIV Examples of Witchcraft: Zodiacs (Horoscopes) Eastern meditation rituals Ouija boards Tarot card readings and some video and role playing games.. “Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.” Revelation 22:15 NIV Leviticus 19:31 31 “Do not turn to mediums or necromancers; do not seek them out, and so make yourselves unclean by them: I am the Lord your God.” “A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy person keeps a secret.” “A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends” (11:13; 16:28, NIV).” Jesus Christ called the Holy Spirit "Spirit of Truth" (John 14:17; 15:26; 16:13) and warned us, "All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men; but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven unto men" (Matthew 12:31). EX: saying Omg or saying The Lord Jesus Christ or God as a curse word Also when saying Jesus or God or even Lord please have them in capital it means something horrible or bad also when saying You and Your when talking about them also when saying Bible. Also please don’t listen songs with bad meanings toward people or cursing it brings horrible thoughts into your head and wants you would never want.. And always forgive don’t say you hate someone you have committed murder in your heart forgive others always as God has always forgave you for your sins and love that person as Jesus loves You.. never be jealous of someone and always have patience before getting angry it it okay to be angry just have patience Lastly DONT think that your a “good person it says in the Bible that no one is good and if your say you are you are saying God is lying and the Bible says that it is impossible for God to lie.”Ray Comfort.. Lastly don't say the word j-e -e z- because the original word for it is Jesus or g-e-e because the original word for it is God this is also blasphemy also one more thing love others as you love yourself “It is NOT OK to practice the law of attraction as a Christian. God intended us to abide by His word. Based on the Bible alone, the law of attraction does not line up with scripture. In fact, the law of attraction blasphemes God.” “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 NIV “He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.” Hebrews 11:26-28 NIV Do not be lazy it is against the Bible.. Examples: “Lazy hands make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth.” Proverbs 10:4 NIV “Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. How long will you lie there, you sluggard? When will you get up from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest- and poverty will come on you like a thief and scarcity like an armed man.” Proverbs 6:6-11 NIV bible.com/bible/111/pro.6.6-11.NIV “• “Spirit guides” are not protective, helpful angels. When they actually exist, they are disguised demons attempting to lead us into sin or destruction. Interacting with demonic guides is expressly forbidden in the Bible (Leviticus 20:27). James 4:7 tells us to resist such beings, not trust and follow them. • Numerology is an occult practice that has no basis in Scripture and no place in the Christian life. Although the Bible uses numbers such as 7 and 40 to represent specific things, this does not mean that every number has a hidden meaning. Numerology is a form of fortune-telling, which the Bible absolutely condemns (Leviticus 19:31; Deuteronomy 18:10-13; Galatians 5:19-20). • God communicates with us through His Word, not the face of our alarm clock. He established the Bible to give us what we need to know about Him (2 Timothy 3:16-17) and wise counselors to help us apply the Bible to our lives (1 Corinthians 11:1). Nowhere in the Bible does it suggest God communicates through hidden meanings in numbers outside of the Bible.” Never swear on something or someone “The Apostle has used oaths in his Epistles, and by this shows us how that ought to be taken, I say unto you, Swear not at all, namely, lest by allowing ourselves to swear at all we come to readiness in swearing, from readiness we come to a habit of swearing, and from a habit of swearing we fall into perjury.” Matthew 5:34

Comparison is a thief of joy!!! When we compare what we're doing with what someone else is doing it steals our joy about our own life. We have to stay focused on our own goals, our own accomplishments and be at peace with them. Jesus told Peter to get out of the boat and walk to him on the water. Peter did what Jesus said and walked on water, but the minute he turned his head to focus on the wind, he began to sink. Matt 14:28 That's what we need to do when it comes to our life. Keep our eyes on Jesus and don't look at what other people are doing it's a distraction.

So relatable. I turned 25 this year & I swear it’s like so much just unlocked for me mentally. Now I’m trying to figure out the same things you’re trying to figure out about yourself. Like even down to my bedroom aesthetic and what I need my room to feel like. I like the neutrals aesthetic that most influencers have going on but I really wanna make sure I’m making my space my own and really making sure my little space that I do have to myself living back with my mom is truly a reflection of me. I’ve also fallen into the comparison trap and have been catching myself thinking certain ways and I’m seeing just how much social media has affected me and most girls my age. It’s sickening actually that we have to fight harder to just be ourselves and not be shamed for not having the bbl body or dressing a certain way or being in our 20s and not having your own place etc etc. Loved this chit chat Isi!

Weird how my comments disappeared after trying to tell you to go deeper with your relationship with God. What you are looking for can be found only in God. You can see that God is calling you to find him deeper, spend time with him more. I felt this way too but I know happiness and feel content now in God. With a racing world world around me, God is my calm, my safety, my reassurance, my everything. Please seek him be intentional and invite him into your mornings and nights and throughout the day. And read your bible I’d highly recommend leaving the devotional alone for now and just focus on God, the bible, you. Don’t know why my comment deleted but you are obviously so special and loved by God. I hope that you take our advice and God leads you down the right path. ❤️

Since I ended the relationship with my ex-boyfriend it's been an off and on challenge for me to learn myself and to know what do I want not, because I'm comparing myself to other people or because I feel like I need to be at the same level and experience that they are. Really watching Pastor Michael Todd and the Transformation Church cuffing season series and specifically cuffed to comparison I have been trying to not mentally compare myself with people no matter their gender, color, Creed, etc. Nine times out of 10 a person may take a moment to size me up or make a comment about me in their own mind but then we'll continue on with their day. While I mentally will be focused on did they like what I was wearing, oh I looked bigger standing next to this person, and just tearing myself down with insecurities and negative comments because I don't understand my own value and worth. But now that I am going to be 22 years old on September 4th, 2022 all the things that a person would normally want for their birthday meaning clothes, money, and even jewelry that's fine and all but for me I want to fall in love with myself and learn how to love myself the way that God loves me unconditionally. Not just on the inside but on the outside as well. I have the tendency to demean and diminish what I've been blessed with because I'm so focused on what I don't have and what I have yet to receive or get to, I am learning to live in the present as you said and to not focus on what I did in the past because I can't go back and to not focus on the future because I can't predict what's going to happen, but to live in the present and live in the now and stop missing out on what God has given me now! I was so worried and focused on trying to get to the next best thing or better opportunities, rather than being content where I currently am and being thankful that God has even kept me this far and that he is still keeping me even in very uncertain times. That there is value in me, that I am priceless, that I am so much more than the lies, the negative thoughts and connotations that the enemy Whispers to me and my mind trying to make me believe that since I've been in college since 2019 that I should have already graduated and be father along in life then what I am currently. What someone told me recently that I didn't understand or didn't focus on was that ,"everyone has their own story, and their own pace, and their own lane and if you're busy focusing on someone else as you're in your own lane you can cause yourself to slip and fall or stumble while in your own lane or race." So basically all that to say that in Jesus name that I want to be intentional with running my own race no matter the obstacles, potential setbacks, and just curveballs that life has to offer me because I don't want to live in fear and hold myself up from the blessings that God has for me because I don't trust God to hold me, to take care of me, to Lead Me and guide me in all things. No this will be the beginning intentionality in my life, and my relationship with God, and taking care of myself and not burning myself out for other people. Amen!

I’m about 15 mins in but just wondering if you’ve had a look at your spiritual needs in terms of the most important relationship , your relationship with God ? Maybe you’ve mentioned it later in the video. I recall that you and Josh are both Christian and have a strong belief in God. Something that has helped so many people find true peace and contentment with life is building a strong relationship with God. Maybe if you don’t already, set time aside for yourself and even a specific day with Josh to read and meditate on the Bible. Read the different accounts of worshipers of God and what they went through and how they turned to him in prayer and trusted him and asked him to guide their decisions and life choices and the ones who didn’t, and then see how you personally or as a couple can apply what you’ve read to yourself now in your situation and pray about it and ask for direction and true peace of mind. It also discusses the time that we are living in and why the world is the way it is and what’s coming in the near future. I promise it really helps you to balance your mind and what’s most important in this life and find true satisfaction. He knows better than us on how we should live . What’s the harm in trying it for a while let’s say 3 months and then see how you feel? :) hope you see this. Really think you will both find it helpful Edit: yay! You said you have been reading the Bible more. Reading is a really good start.

I think this video relates a lot to what I am currently going through. I am 18 years and old just started college last month. I took the risk of going to school out of state all by myself and it has been a very hard adjustment for me. Overall, I haven't been feeling the best mentally especially when it comes to my self-esteem and confidence. I consider myself to be a very headstrong individual but I have recently been in my head about a lot of things. Walking around campus and seeing people in the best clothes or girls who always have the best makeup I almost feel out of place if that makes sense. I think that is a big part of the "aesthetic lifestyle" that you mentioned. I want to use this period of growing from a teenager to a young adult to work on myself and my self-confidence. I really enjoyed this video, it really helped put my ongoing thoughts and feelings into words. I'm glad you made this video because not many people like to talk about these things and they focus on keeping the image of having the perfect aesthetic life.

I just turned 23 and I appreciate this video because I took a 2 year break from social media due to me comparing myself to other on social media. While was on that break I realized that I have become more outgoing and focused on myself than others. You are also right about the lack of social skills our generation has with social media now because some people can't even have conversations without looking at their phone. But the idea of "creating yourself" instead of "finding yourself" is so genius👏🏾 That's definitely a gem I'm taking from this video. Also meditation because I want to be more still before getting started with my day. Girl this video.. 10/10 recommend ❤👏🏾🔥

Hey Isi I love you and Josh, y’all really are quality individuals and a couple. Praying for you guys. I know your speaking the thoughts of a huge percentage of not all of us millennials. Excited for your marriage and wishing you nothing but happiness peace and joy! I hope you and Josh get to take at minimum a month break! We millennials so desperately need guidance. Keep studying your word to find Jesus because that void that needs to be filled cannot be filled with people, career/money, material things etc.

One thing about life is that you will be consistently learning yourself. Theres constant new information, some opinions change, we gain new perspectives. I strive to be the best me everyday.

Omg i relate to this so much! I've been trying so hard to "find myself again" but it shouldn't be that way . Like u said, it should be about taking our power back while also staying in our lane and not comparing ourselves. Being comfortable and confident 👏👏 I needed this

This video made me cry. You spoke on things that I’ve been feeling about myself lately. I feel like I don’t know me. Somewhere in past relationships, enduring a pandemic, getting married and becoming a new mother I lost myself and I very much do not like me. Thank you for sharing this because I know I’m not alone. You are such a blessing, Isi. I pray that you receive all the peace, love, stillness, success and happiness that you deserve. I’m really looking forward to working on myself for myself. I know that me loving myself will also nurture healthy relationships with my husband and my baby girl. Love you, Isi.

Sometimes I go to the river, sit alone, and pray. Bring God into your meditation time, He does wonders. ❤️

Replace mediation with mediation on the word, pray, walk talk to God pour out your heart, become grateful with what you have practice gratitude and patient. Isi has much to be greatfull for but clearly a life without God and understanding His will for you will leave you lost no matter how much expensive things you have. God gives us purpose just by being His children and nothing else is needed to fulfil us every thing else is extra a temp. Think about that it may change your percentage and hopefully you find joy and rest in the Lord

If you are a woman of God, nothing with ever make you truly happy or satisfied in this world Isi... xx Darkness will keep you in a distracted loop of uncertainty and make you believe that it is your self that needs to fit in this world, when in fact it is the world that is not compatible with God's people.

You and I are the same age AND we are both Virgos and in committed relationships. I look to you for A LOT of guidance. I try not to compare our lives, but the similarities are undeniable. I swear if I ever get to meet you in person, I will probably cry like a baby. I can't explain the amount of gratitude I have to you and Josh for staying true to yourselves and making it the norm for people like me. Thank you, I love you and ALWAYS be blessed ❤
