Myer travels and Tyme London are the best are the best travel vlogers for me so far.being honest and at the same time respectful,understanding for Ethiopians and the country.i am sorry for the things you sometimes face😔, I hope those things change through time .our country needs to work on things .Have a safe stay and I hope you also have good memorable time.try to make friends I've not seen you making friends so far, having people around is good thing and helpful in many levels ,specially when you want to relocate and need recommendation on good restaurants,also how you can avoid those crooks when you go to grocery and the taxis also have these problems asking higher price .stay safe🙏🙏🙌🙌🙌

Great video as always! Much love and respect for giving those ladies some change @5:13. I've seen KZbinrs walk away like they are absolutely nothing. They even film street peddlers, but they don't even want to buy anything from them at all. They film them and make money off of them. That's just not fair. They're stingy as FK. They say stuff like "Damn, look at these hustlers!". Thank you for buying those socks from that young man @24:00.

There's only two things I don't like: the roaming pack of dogs that bark all night and the heavy rains during the Spring time. As far as communication, Google Translate works pretty well. But I still recommend getting a phrase book. They sell them all over Addis and especially near the Edna Mall area

The berbere gives the dish its color and taste most of the times... It sounds like you need dishes that dont have berbere/mitmita in them. Maybe alicha kik, tibs, siga and dinich, quanta firfir, genfo with plain yogurt/sour cream or besso are some good ones that have no/very little chili. Truth is, we eat literally everything with berbere
@staydown4bo Жыл бұрын
another thing if i remember correctly, Ethiopia has a very high young people to old people ratio. Majority of Ethiopians are young nowadays

About the internet its because of politics the government limited the speed this days until things calm down but its pretty well otherwise
@alimtanta2934 Жыл бұрын
No Kim Zyn internet in Ethiopia is not up to the level yet. I think the government should regulate to foreign company come and invest in. Or the government should be investing in technology. Like Kenya or South Africa or Rwanda. Ethiopia still behind, also in Real estate way over priced beyond imagination.

It's really important to learn the words "no" and "yes" and put them with the amhairic words of stuff you are concerned about when you talk with them. I am going to re-watch your videos and pretend I am there with you and practise talking. 🙂yes good manners and we don't see fat people eating on the street, that's good.

Yes, many of the Ethiopia women are beautiful. Some are mixed with Italians, Turkish, persian, etc. They are not 100% negros. Some of the Muslim men from eastern Europe unfortunately took advantage of them and made them temporary wives. But they will not tell you that. Some of them only want rich white men. I guess because they usually have more money. That being said all African woman in the diaspora are beautiful, Ugandans, Rwandans, South Africans, African American, Ghanaian etc. And most have much to offer. Remember that. ❤ 😊
