Me and my mum had a convo about prayer whilst married. She said it's hard for a woman to do her prayers when married. It confused initially but then I understood. She married a man who does not pray. So she would please him (iykyk) and miss her prayers, especially fajr prayers. Marry a man who prays because it should be more likely that you don't miss yours either. Do not compromise your Deen!
@Sarafara7 Жыл бұрын
This could not be further from the truth and is honestly such a sexist comment. It is not hard for a woman to do her prayers. My mom married my dad when he never prayed and he began to grow closer to prayer overtime, eventually praying everything on time. My friend married a man who does not pray and started to pray after marriage. Another friend, same thing. Not everyone is on the same level of deen. We all flactuate. It’s okay to marry a man who struggles with prayer as long as you see that he tries. You are most likely not “perfect” either. Someone might deem you unfit for marriage. 🤷🏻♀️ I hope no one takes this comment seriously, so bad 🤦🏻♀️
@mimo4856 Жыл бұрын
@@Sarafara7 everyone's situation is different. I'm not saying you should not marry a man who struggles with prayer but be conscious that if his life does not revolve around it, it can make your life harder to do acts of worship. Depends how submissive you really are and if your willing to compromise your Deen to satisfy your husband to please him instead.
@Sarafara7 Жыл бұрын
@@mimo4856 If a woman is “submissive” to her husband in all ways were she forgoes her own identity, then she has major issues regarding her self worth. No human should ever submit to any person in such ways. Allah is always first, the husband doesn’t even compare. So, if a woman is not praying to “please her husband,” it’s her personal problem. To be affected by another’s lack of worship only reflects on the person, be it man or woman. I’m just saying your comment makes it sound like women are weak and will just change their relationship to Allah to “please their man” 🤔 this is false.

So, I’ve been in marriage 10 years now with three children and I’m starving to come back to education, but my husband does not let me do that because the courses are all gender mixed. A guy who I had talked to for awhile loved blue eyes on women, I even noticed he followed pages of babies with blue eyes on Instagram-so he was really into it. Recently I’ve given up hope on him and it’s actually been a relief. Now I can be open to a man who values who I am physically. Let this man find the blue eyed woman of his dreams! Some people go into this airhead moment as I call it. where the mind starts racing about the future of being with a person they’ve just met or recently got into a relationship with this person. So they put all the might and power in making that airhead moment a reality. People are usually on their best behaviour when you first meet them. So looking at someone’s personality and looks is just scratching the surface. Looking deeper than the surface of the skin is important. Analysing where they want to be in life and what roles each of you would have in the relationship is more important. However some people don’t like to ask questions just in case it all falls apart or upset the other person’s feelings which could compromise the relationship overall. These individuals have low self esteem and lack confidence around relationships. You’re doing a great job with helping people around these sensitive issues.

@umiix well now looking back sister, I had alot of red flags which I chose to ignore!! I was very young and naive and was told by many that u need to marry young, and that rushed me into things On the day of the k.k the sheikh told my wali that this man was married 2 times before me,which we had no knowledge of Another sign, he rushed into the marriage, after k.k he pressured me into consumating the marriage before leaving the house, he wanted kids straight away, he wasn't shy to tell me that he wanted a 2nd wife from our engagement, yes these may sound innocent to you all, but now after being with him for so long , I see that he is a man that knew what he wanted from the start and he played his game well A narcissistic person will make the spouses life revolve around them, that is my life now, I work for his business, of course work in the home and take care of my children which is good, but he will tell me how I am treated like a queen, but Really I have no freedom, I cannot even get him to take me to a store to get clothing, Another thing narcissistic people do is stone wall. My husband has done this form the beginning! I never understood this until I googled it! Google what stone walling is, if I ask him a question he will not answer it, I have to repeat maybe 5 times and if I'm lucky he will answer He tells me it's not my business where he comes and goes. Because he is the man. I Really do think this man has suffered from negligence and abuse as a child, but either way, his emotion and past physical violence towards me , just makes me want out. I want to speak to a sheikh to give me khula maybe after I give birth and he will have to put me in a house because I have no family here
@n.n9035 Жыл бұрын
He makes his children feel like he should be treated like a king,, alot of narcissistic people will make false promises, hes always doing that. It gives u hope things will b better so u stay longer. Also I wanted to wear niqab one day and take my time with it, but then 1 day xame and he said if you show up to the house without wearing it you will have problems, So do not let any man make you feel intimidated!! Marriage should be loving, should bring the better person out in you, not make u worry,scared,upset... I wish I had someone to warn me about these types of men before .. He will make you feel as if you cannot find a man after him, they put your self worth down. When you argue, they will say anything to you like an enemy You should not feel like an enemy to your husband especially when all you do is be good to them So at the end of the day, there were not much signs BEFORE marriage because they are soooo good at acting!! He was sooo quite at my mother's house!! He made himself seem sweet ,, plz get to know the groom before kteb ktab ,, see how they are with the women in their family!! He upset his mother once and she said if he is like that with me how will he b with his wife?? Anyways when I wanted to leave he didn't allowed it.. he also made me feel threatened that no sheikh will help me because my problems arnt big enough so wish me luck 😪

As any good Muslimah I too was worried about Allah's Anger..I thought that my sacrifices and compromises would be the ONLY THING THAT WOULD KEEP THE MARRIAGE GOING AND HENCE THE FAMILY TOGETHER..😢BUT I WAS WRONG , IT WAS ACTUALLY my lack of knowledge.. ie knowledge of deen, what exactly Allah Swt Expected from both men and women.. why Allah Swt Created 2 genders with 2 different set of purposes, duties and rights..etc and he was an outwardly practising Muslim too..!! By the time I acquired the knowledge it was too late and he had transgressed the limits of decent behaviour towards a spouse/a fellow human being..!! I couldn't even have a decent conversation with him.. Extremely egoistic, arrogant and stubborn attitude all coming from his INSECURITY FEELINGS..!! IT was a 23yrs old relationship, hence I tried my best to keep it together, from falling apart... but it wasn't getting anywhere, literally just going round and round in circles even after trying for a reconciliation.. in fact his insecurity, haste and greed became MORE AND MORE EVIDENT DURING THE RECONCILIATION PERIOD.. SUBHAN ALLAH. FINALLY I had to say goodbye to the relationship. Alhamdulillah, Allah Swt Freed me from the clutches of a NPD man

I understood that in certain circumstances, we women have been given a chance, an opportunity and a responsibility/duty by Allah Swt, Ar Raheem, THE Especially Merciful Lord, to teach the men that MARRIAGE is a RELATIONSHIP NOT JUST FOR THE SAKE/BENEFIT OF THE WOMEN, RATHER IT IS FOR THE BENEFIT OF men as well.. Subhan Allah, these men act as if marriage is for the women alone.. if she wants it she can keep it with Non STOP SACRIFICES AND COMPROMISES.NA'OODUBILLAAH in fact women are better survivors than men even without a companion or family.. Subhan Allah but men need a spouse and family for his physical and emotional well-being.. but little do they realise it..May Allah Swt grant hidayah and hikmah to such narcissistic men, Aameen

Exactly this what im facing nowadays, i always wanted to marry young cuz its a sunnah, but all the guys i meet ask and tell nasty sexual things as show me your boobs, show me you without hijaab. Why hijab?take it off. All my life, am 33 now, unmarried,no kids, refusing such guys. i feel awfull for all i went trough. I even never heard such awfull words coming from non muslims, these men always were only muslim by name. This all was like mental abuse to me, cuz men should be protecters,maintainers and more respectfull over the women.

@@BlueBlue23 im talking about the guys that aproach me on a daily,going to school,work,online socialmedia, everywhere, ''halal'' places though. Im not looking anywhere, the guy should aproach a girl first unless he really well known to be good husband material

Salam. Love this video. Would love your Islamic naseeha on the Andrew Tate culture that a lot of Muslim males are now following.

@@husnashahidd Andrew Tate is an influencer on masculinity A lot of Muslim men seem to worship him these days Except, his teachings deviate from what Islam teaches and a lot of it is actually downright toxic In a nutshell, there's too much focus on men's rights and not enough on men's duties

For point 1, how do we balance between not acting dumb but also not nagging if that makes sense? I don’t act dumb per se but constantly feel as if im trying to show my intelligence and it might come off as nagging because im almost always right haha 😅 its very hard to stay quiet when you know something is wrong but at the same time no one wants a nagging wife

Yes I understand your point 😂 it can be hard to stay quiet but if it’s not a big issue then it’s really important for the woman to learn to bite her tongue otherwise she may make her husband resentful of her knowledge and feel like she is always leading and challenging his position.

I was going to comment the same thing but couldn’t articulate my thoughts properly. Happy to find someone to resonate 😁 Solution I found is train myself to keep quiet

Am also the kind of person, but it should not be you will totally silent in all situation but to mention it as your own view of point or contribution, it shouldn't be you will always finalize your point.

I’ve learned recently that there’s this game people play on each other. Who is more intelligent than who? This game needs to stop overall and ask yourself do you want a challenging relationship or a loving and supportive relationship? I’m a firm believer of equality being egalitarian. However I’ve found many people like to play mind games and most individuals coming from ethnic minorities are modelling their narcissistic parents which is a known fact.
