Just brainstorming what I've witnessed growing up. 1. Talking badly about him to your parents / getting others involved in your problems and arguments (constantly) 2. Sharing intimate details with your girls (thankfully, most muslim women are hush hush) 3. Venting to him as soon as he comes back home from work. Not giving him time to unwind. Also, not asking him about how his day went 4. Talking shit about his siblings and mom (constantly - no validity) 5. Pinning the kids against him 6. Provoking him 7. Insulting him infront of others, disguised as joking 8. No self awareness / not taking accountability for your faults & flaws 9. Nitpicking everything he does 10. Not showing appreciation + being passive aggressive

This came at the right time! My husband consistently says I do not listen to him. Prephaps from your point of view , I now understand what he means. I’m not listening to process exactly what he is saying. Jazakumllah kharyan sis for this video.

This is valuable information and it’s important to understand and act on it. Being a wife is a privilege, bring all of your femininity to the marriage and if it’s not appreciated I agree, bounce. Leave rather than change into somebody you are not. Such good advice dear sister. Shukran ❤

Subhan'Allah, you're definitely a pearl 😭. I know men can be a piece of work, but I'd rather be self-aware and work on myself... it's very easy to project. I also find men rarely have a support system unlike us women... their emotions tend to get ignored. Correct me if I'm wrong?

So your father has barred you from ever returning to your parents' house if you marry? Doesn't sound like a good father AT ALL.

Asslam alaikum sister. I Understand the fact that the man is the provider and the maintainer of the house and that he goes out and provides for the wife and children, but what about men that don’t work and provide, do they deserve the same respect ? A women would respect a man more and the fact that he provides she would emulate that respect 100 more times, but what about a man who doesn’t do his Islamic duties ?
@NafisasPearlz Жыл бұрын
Walaikumsalam. In this case the crucial question is, is he choosing not to provide or is he in a situation where he can’t provide? The other thing I would say is try to respect him as much as you are able despite his behaviour but if you feel you can not then don’t make each others life a misery by staying together. If you stay, do the right thing.
