I didn’t want to deal with the possibility of an episiotomy. It was one of the things I dreaded the most from reading about delivery. It was one of the first things my Doctor said when I was ready to push and I literally screamed, “Noooo!” 😂 Of course, it wasn’t my decision to make because that was the only way as I had a big baby. I got another tear during the process so I had to heal from two cuts. The pain. It took me about a month to heal completely. Thank you Kelechi, nothing completely prepares us for the experience but videos like these are very helpful!❤

It’s funny but no one mentioned the cramping when breastfeeding and I thought it was strange when I experienced it. It was worse with my second delivery and at some point I honestly withdrew and paused feeding sometimes. It was really painful. A nurse had mentioned that it gets a bit more painful with each delivery because the uterus is doing more work…

Direct Breastfeeding is preferred to Bottle feeding. According to World Health Organization - When bottle feeding is associated with unhygienic conditions and poor preparation of infant formula, it puts the infant at a great risk of illness, resulting in increased risk of mortality. Feeding an infant from a bottle with an artificial teat may also make it more difficult for the baby to learn to attach well at the breast and has been associated with earlier cessation of breastfeeding. If an infant can not feed directly from the breast, then the safest alternative is to feed expressed breast milk from a cup.
