Love the handle thickness it looks comfortable. I saw video of this bow in golden sandal wood it looked gorgeous. I have your tatar bow it was my first "horsebow" ever. Love that thing.

I think the golden sandalwood may have some points taken off. The bearpaw clear glass actually has some white streaks, it is less noticeable with lighter wood color, but on darker shades it does show. Golden Sandalwood is quite dark overall and does make the white streak more noticeable. Some people don't mind that and just focus on the veneer, but some may find the white streaks to be annoying. Bow is good regardless of the choice of veneer.

Great review! I agree that the placement of the carbon core is neutral and offers nothing to performance.

In my opinion keep looking be beautiful. I don't have a SiCai but I have both styles of string bridge and I prefer the wooden one, looks much better. Thanks for the video.

Thank you so much for this review. I bought a Bird's Eye maple version in Amazon which was on sale for $269. I just received it and was thinking about returning it. What was sent to me was not the same as the one shown in amazon. What they advertised was the Bird's eye maple you were describing, but what I got looked like an earlier version. It did not have any carbon core and it had a plastic bridge instead of an integrated bridge. Not sure if it's the fault of AF or Amazon for showing posting an incorrect picture, but in any event, I decided to keep it. I'm more about the performance, and your point about having a lighter string bridge makes absolute sense, and as you pointed out in your video, why would you need a carbon core if there is no twist issue.

$269 should have been bamboo version with plastic bridge and without carbon core on AF website (not including shipping). Not sure what's up with Amazon. Anyway I'll soon introduce the Super Sicai model, an exclusive version for Bamboo Archery

Carbon helps make more power and spring for more arrow speed

No it doesn't and had already been proven. You need to put carbon in the right place for it to contribute. Slapping in a carbon core usually result in slightly lower performance.

Another one they mis market as 34 inch draw but it will do 32.5 just fine Huntingdoor sales a version for $149
@bambooarchery10 ай бұрын
I market this as 32", but it is able to do 32.5". 34" is ridiculous, it's on the breaking limit and stacks like 10% poundage per inch.

I have a 20# and 28# SiCai in stock, and 34 was doable. Maybe 50@28" prohibits this.

All bows can do way past their max. But if it doesn't last, it doesn't count.
