Entering someone's house you will probably have a little conversation about the shoes. They'll often tell you to keep them on, or offer you slippers for guests. As a guest it's polite to at least ask or start taking your shoes off ;)

Back when I was living in Poland I always loved the "fight" you had with a home owner you visited. "You don't have to take your shoes off I didn't clean yet" "No I will they are dirty" "No it's ok" "No No I will take them off" Ya I always took them off out of respect lol.

Down to the "Oh, I was going to hoover and mop the floors tomorrow anyway" 😅 but heaven forbid someone actually takes me up on the offer and doesn't take off their shoes... maaajor faux pas

12:25 - About jaywalking - there is a general rule here that, as described in this guy's movie - people normally use pedestrian crossings, BUT if there's none nearby you can just cross the street anywhere - the rule is that the nearest crosswalk must be more than 100m away, and if it is, police won't give you a ticket. That doesn't apply for 2-3 lane roads(because there are usually some railings between them), just for normal single lane roads.

Poland used to be strong and respected. For example, five hundred years ago, when England was at war with Spain, when Polish ships with grain were sailing to Spain, both sides stopped the fight to let these ships pass unharmed because they were Polish. That says something.

8:31 when it comes tto that its different when tis some normal day nothing happens youre just out with your friends yeah its rare but not really but when it for example new years eve its normal and its more like "normal" that people that are younger are more interactive between different groups. When i was in Zakopane on NYE 3 years ago like in the "ceneter" of the city wqe were so interactive we created a group of over 60 people easily at the end police came and told us to not make it that crowdy but you know when they left we just changed place lmao

The Polish people have been through a lot especially during WWII being invaded by the Nazi's and having lots of extermination camps situated there , the biggest being Auschwitz . So they have been through a lot but are still pretty nice people .
