@@sharkwaves Agree. I have sent this to all my friends getting in to fighters

@@sharkwaves Absolutely! I was linking it to my friends before I realized it had been 6 months since a video, haha

You all are the best. I'm kind of terrible at promotion/getting my stuff out there, so spreading the word is more helpful than you can imagine.

Also, giving up was never on the table! The delay was a combination of real life stuff getting the way (good stuff, but stuff that took up a lot of my time over the winter) and Part 6 getting out of hand and becoming three full videos instead of the just the one. More stuff is coming soon- thank you for the kind words, it means a lot.

So happy to see you back. Looking forward to see how you will handle Samurai shodown when it drops.

Good to be back! I was toying with the idea of taking the approach to Samurai Shodown when it launches- my only concern there is that my approach would almost be too obvious, since the the series is sort of known for being about the basics. Regardless, I'm absolutely going to pick it up and if making a video make sense, I will 100% make one.

It would be hard to go step by step with KOF, whenever everybody is extremely good.

What do you think about needing combos in MK11? Any chance of doing a 6.2.1 on MK?

Holy shit, 3 videos at once?

How about doa 6 where no one jumps? What do i punish there?
@pressbuttonwin5 жыл бұрын
Jumping is just an example of an unsafe/punishable tactic- the important thing is punishing unsafe things on reaction (as much as possible, anyway). Another example in Street Fighter V would be sweeps (cr.HK). If you block a sweep, you can almost always hit the opposing character for free. Even a game w/o jumping is likely to have things where upon successfully defending, your opponent is wide open. Of course, punishing your opponent for doing these things doesn't guarantee you'll win, but it's a necessary first step.
