It's not a war. No-one's going to get killed. Well, not immediately, but if you eat too many McShakes or battered sausages it WILL catch up with you. It's just nudge theory - make them a bit more expensive or difficult to access, a proportion of the population will eat less of it and reduce the risk to their health which in turn reduces the cost to the NHS from treating chronic health problems. You're not going to be stopped from eating these things you daftie.

Actually what he is arguing isn't really outrageous. The idea of stopping kids from enjoying chocs and sweets on Halloween is a bit much. Whatever happened to letting kids be kids? Let them enjoy these things but teach them moderation and variation.
