I'm up to my 3rd LG phone. I started with a G6 5 years ago. Moved to a V35 in 2020 and just bought a (Korean spec.) V50 which is on Android 12. The Quad DAC is my favorite feature on all of them.

I've always wanted a LG G7 cause it has the extra brightness outdoor mode toggle,, it's a ips lcd wit 1440p resolution, when u hit the extra bright toggle u get ur peak brightness on demand, over 900 nits,,,, i hate that other phones try to control me and control my brightness 😑 that should be my choice and only my choice, i want maximum peak brightness when i decide i want it,,,, some soulless evil corporation shouldn't be telling me how bright i should rock my screen

The G7 is a terrific phone. I was about to pull the trigger on the G7 in April 2019, but then the G8 came out and T-Mobile had it on a promo for $309. How could I pass that up? The LCD panel on the G7 allows it to get better battery life over the OLED G8.

Just bought an LG Velvet T-Mobile iteration brand new in sealed box...$240. I've had the V30 which was outstanding and am replacing the G7 Thinq with this Velvet. Would like a slightly smaller phone but I'll live with it. A top spec 5G phone brand new for $240...all 👍.

Wow the g6 was my fav mobile ever. I only had LG smartphone. I've started with LG vu II and then vu III. Then I got the G6, then v40 and v50 now. I'm about to buy a new device. I really don't know if I'm gonna buy a v60 or if I switch to oppo find x5 pro. The v60 doesn't have the front wide angle

v60, velvet and wings are getting android 13 so its still a good buy and the v60 has snapdragon 865 with 8gb ram so its fast for 2022

V60 is a ridiculous phone for the money. The DAC is awesome. I have no idea why people are paying over £1000 for a mobile, They really havent moved on that much to warrant the huge difference in price. It pretty much does the same job as newer mobiles.

Terrific video. I have the G8 and the V60. I use the G8 as my media consumption device and my carry phone when I want something lighter. The V60 is a bit faster, has louder speakers, and packs a much bigger battery. Even though the G8 has a 3120x1440 2k panel, the 1080p panel on the V60 is sharper. I use the 6.8" V60 as my car nav and media device using a magnetic CD slot mount with Waze. It's better than any OEM automaker nav. Overall I believe that the G8 edges out the V60 because of the rear fingerprint reader and 3D face unlock. But both phones are keepers because of the 32-bit Hi-Fi QuadDAC, 3.5mm jack, and expandable storage. The one thing to worry about on the V60 is an iffy USB-C port. Just don't keep plugging and unplugging. When the port becomes unstable, you have to replug until charging normalizes. I haven't had this issue on my G8. LG replaced my V60 under their Second Year Promise, and I now split the time between the G8 and the V60.

the wings has sd 765g so its not powerful as the v60 with sd 865. i pray pubg with my v60 on ultra with hdr and its fast with no lag issue but will heat up and drain battery but on high with hdr, i get no heat or drain issue
