Lived in Tulsa for nine years! I really enjoyed it. Nice friendly people. Heat is low humidity. The wind helps cool it off. Great fishing in the many reservoirs. BBQ rivals any in Texas or Kansas City. Snow is minimal and is mostly gone by noon! Take a chance and enjoy Oklahoma and take in a POW WOW!

@Liquidmonkey8 I would recommend it because it checks all the boxes for me. Low taxes, cheap living, wide open spaces, state population of only 4 million. Great weed and gun laws. Great weather year-round. Friendly people. For me it's a great place to live but for you it might not. I would do research and decide and compare it to other states. I will say I feel more free down here than I ever did in IL.

I plan on moving to Tulsa Oklahoma and starting my life there soon with my fiancé and our daughter which all ready live there.. we’re both ready for that next step moving in together… my future wife was born and raised in Tulsa Oklahoma and I met her on one of her trips to visit her sister here in Iowa.. we started dating even though we knew it would be long distance relationship at first and is looking forward to starting my life in Tulsa Oklahoma with my fiancé and our daughter and her family.. We live in Broken Arrow near Tulsa and we love it here! We're from SW Oklahoma originally but everyone is friendly here, everything is pretty & green, lots of trees! So much to do here too! It's definitely much cheaper to live here then other parts of the states!

Reason 5a - There are some real jackwagons on the roads here. Driving on freeways and highways is not for the faint of heart. If you're going less than 80, you are in the way and will more than likely get tailgated.

I live in Puerto Rico, every single day are killing people, I’m moving because education for exceptional students is trash. Like me as a mother we don’t have opportunities to go find a job (remote job doesn’t exist here) because they don’t have transportation for our kids, the buildings are collapsing, the therapy’s is outside the schools, so if you don’t have a car you just fuck, and the government doesn’t care. The cost of living here is extremely expensive, and we just want a little peace of all this. We we’re thinking of Tulsa, but if you can go anywhere what is your suggestion? Thank you for this.

Just wanted people to know that Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum presented a proposed municipal ordinance to aimed at cracking down on people experiencing homelessness. He introduced and raised literally every type of tax pushing business and people in poverty. Think twice before moving or living in tulsa county. I would recommend surrounding counties. Atlast most importantly don't vote for him again.

I like Oklahoma but except the only thing I don't like about is driving, lot of tail gate even when your driving 80 mph. Everyone is a speedy racer here, that's why all auto insurances is so highly high here. Plus every has gun here, long as your Oklahoma resident and has driver license you can purchase a gun. Sometimes i don't feel safe for my family here. We just moved here like 2 years ago.....we'll see

I hate Oklahoma and lived in Tulsa growing up and happily moved to Colorado but I am offended. lol I guess I had a blast because I actually went to college there. Enjoyed every minute after I got out of the sucky school system.
