I found this talk incredibly fascinating, timely & exceedingly relevant. As I listened to Peter Jones I thought that atheism, pantheism, and character disorders have something in common: the refusal to acknowledge "the other" as the other but in its place the demand to only see everything as an extension of oneself. As I thought of it, I realized the original injury was Lucifer in heaven in one way or another expressing to God: "I want to be You. I demand to be You. I do not accept being other and different. I demand to claim YOUR top identity." And so Satan carried that primal distortion with him to us. Sorry if my name icon comes up 2x. Computer glitch.
