Honestly one of my favorite videos so far, Carp fishing isn’t as big in the US, they mostly kill them on my home lake but I’ll still go find a section no ones at and try for those 20+ monsters that lurk. These types of videos keep the moral up when everyone hates the one thing you love.

Another wonderfully shot vlog by the guys at TA , never watched a vlog with Oz b4 but so easy to watch and his way on camera is seamless. On another note never used any products from TA but sold on that rig and its components , might just have to give it a whirl , always stuck with one company since the early nineties confidence is everything ! The neatness of that rig though is a must try.

A great video and wonderfully shot. I’ve been watching all of oz Holmes vlogs lately and I really appreciate him as an angler. Was nice to see how oz went about dealing with the constant challenges we are faced as anglers. The bird life and the nature of the lake really made him work hard for that fish. Great Angling and I’ll look forward to the next one 👍

Oz H you’re welcome mate. It’s good for me as I’ve only been carp fishing for a year and when you watch these other videos you see them catching all the time and gives you false hope. Makes you wonder wtf you’re doing wrong but this video just confirmed that blanking happens and it can take a long time for that one fish. Will keep my eyes open for the next video! 👍🏻
@ozh30134 жыл бұрын
The Joiners' keep it real mate, carp fishing was never meant to be easy, it’s a challenge and all about adapting and creating chances throughout the course of a trip be it 6 hours or six day’s. As long as you learn a bit from the experience enjoy it and build your watercraft all is good! Catch a few nice ones and relish the good times because there will be tricky periods and hard times... that’s what keeps it a challenge 👌 don’t believe all the hype and some of the nonsense that gets around on social media, most captures come from hard graft and sacrifice and it ain’t happening all the time ... do it for you and your own enjoyment and all will be good in your world mate ... see you on the bank sometime 👍
@thejoiners61404 жыл бұрын
Oz H every days a school day as they say and my knowledge is getting better with every session. Who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? What's the little trick where you burn the hair instead of using a boilie stop 3:13 ? Do you use a new rig when you have to re bait? I cant figure out how that works.. Great content btw!
@ThinkingAnglersTV3 жыл бұрын
The bait is threaded on using bait floss, similar to dental floss, which is inexpensive. You cut a length off and thread the bait onto it and then rather than tying on a boil stop, you can burn the floss to form its own stopper. Hope that helps

Be interested to know if the first take you pulled out of was a sharpened hook?? I run a weedy lake and we have had excessive mouth damage increase in past 8yrs. We are now looking into hand sharpened hooks being one of the causes. Ronnie rigs are now banned as we found numbers of foul and double hooked fish in our netting’s.
@rgnotdead2 жыл бұрын
Only just starting to watch this, hence late response. Glad you are taking things seriously, some [the minority I hope] fishermen only think about catching fish, not the fish's welfare. More needs to be done regarding these issues. Wishing you the very best with your venture.
