This video was a great reminder to focus on my biggest income producing activity first and foremost. I’m guilty of wanting to do too many things at once, and spreading myself too thin to where I’m not making much money on any of those things. Right now I’m focusing my energy on my one on one coaching, and online course! 🎉

I respectfully disagree about KZbin being a source for burnout and I think you giving Mary's process as an example is perfect. KZbin is not a source for burnout. if you "burnout," it's because you didn't take care of yourself. we must take full responsibility for our relationship with our work and with our health. Also, Entertainment as a monetization path is a huge way to monetize if you're good at it. if you're not making a good amount of money through entertainment, it's because you suck at it. and, as always, all of this can be improved upon. we all suck at first. but also, some people simply have talents and the fortitude and the opportunities that others don't. but I think it's important, dear think media, to not deem the entertainment niche as less profitable as the education niche. y'all just are not as good at the entertainment niche and it's okay. you have a huge platform and I think telling the story of "entertainment is not as profitable as education" does a disservice to artists who follow you. your strength is the education niche and we love you for it. ❤ I'm an independent artist and I make tons of money every single month and my business is growing every day. please, artists, if you're watching this, don't feel like you HAVE to monetize through educating. you have to get better at business in order to monetize your art. that's it. simple but not always easy until it becomes easy because you got in the reps with the right technique over the required period of time.

@@RPGElite I've started my channel 13 months ago, almost have 2 million total views with consistent 5k+ 10k+ views on each video after a week. I have channel members, I do livestreams, I have good amount of partnerships & bran deals. Still not even close 100k. Gaming niche has no potential (unless it is an esports game) for selling course or 1 v 1 coaching/mentoring, affiliate links (yes there are some options but it is very very limited compare to most niches), a paid community for educational purposes (such as think media has).. List goes on and on. I am not whining btw I believe my channel is exteremly successful for a 1 y/o channel but what I am saying is it does NOT work for every creator as the title suggests :)

What I don’t understand is why would anyone ever hit an affiliate link? It just takes you to a link where you’re not logged in or anything and it’s a huge hassle. I don’t think I’ve ever bought anything through an affiliate link I just go and log into my own account and buy something. I would actively go out of my way to not purchase something through an affiliate link. Not because I don’t want someone to get a commission, it’s just too complicated to deal with. I won’t even dare even try to almost even think about clicking it. So how the hell do you make money off that? Other people actually click them? I think the one time I clicked one I ended up buying the wrong dam item
