Biggest Takeaways is implementation of AI to save time. Also, I never wanted to kick off the channel because I didn't have a studio and the best lighting or polishing tools. I want this to be a labor of love to solve problems, not necessarily a money making stream.

Short form seems to capture new audiences, while longer tends to nurture that relationship supporting long time viewers with meatier content.
@Juan-hr7ol9 ай бұрын
Kinda weird. I started doing long and then added shorts and things seemed to get worse so I stopped doing shorts and then views got better. Started incorporating shorts again and videos are still doing good again, sometimes better.

Another sound advice. And I’m not trying to impose. I’ve learned a ton from this channel. From my experience, the key to financial success in content creation lies in producing long-form videos, while shorts are the golden ticket for rapidly boosting your subscriber count and gaining widespread attention. Remarkably, I’ve gained 40,000 subscribers in just the past two weeks through my shorts. However, it’s crucial to remember that passion is the true driving force behind sustained success, surpassing fleeting motivation. Strategize thoughtfully, allow yourself time to recharge, and whether you’re creating long or short content, always aim for conciseness and directness in your clips. This approach ensures your content remains engaging and impactful.

I’m a high school teacher, I think I’m going to tap into viewers wanting more real and authentic content. Lots of “top 5 teaching hacks” etc out there, and often it’s superficial gimmicks. I’m going to focus on building relationships with my audience by providing longer videos packed with genuine and practical advice for new and beginning teachers. I’ll be using AI to transform my long form content into short form to reach different audiences, but always be leading with authenticity. Mostly, I’m looking forward to building few, deep connections, rather than getting thousands of superficial ones.

1.) My predictions for 2024: Content creation will grow globally and profitably, creators will adapt to AI and use it for the right reasons, and cybersecurity will be in higher demand. That's all I have for now but there is much more though we are halfway through the year. 2.) All the trends you listed are relevant for this year and the years to come. As for me, I'm seeing more lifestyle trends on KZbin. I love that people openly document their lives and are authentic. I look forward to seeing that more. 3.) I'm pondering on whether I should start posting KZbin shorts consistently. It's officially been a year since I posted my first video and ever since then, I've been focused on videos alone. I just don't want to kill or negatively trigger the algorithm. There are many things I struggle with as a new content creator, but that's one idea that's sitting in the back of my mind.

If you have a podcast, that makes it easier to be multi format. It's still better with a team, but one piece of content can be used for long form, podcast, live and shorts.
@brightpage10209 ай бұрын
Video a long form podcast, broadcast and cut sound bites the way mainstream media used to - to tempt the audience or tease them into clicking for more info. Cut the longer form into shorter form teasers or ads for itself. Recut longer videos with entertaining .gifs etc. So it doesn't get boring to watch.
Thanks for the great content! New content creators, like myself, really appreciate the information you provide.

I think my biggest challenge may be my own doing. Long before I joined VRA, I had settled on mixing two niches technology and tools. I thought because I’ve known a lot of people who like to tinker with both, that would translate to an audience on KZbin who are that way. Growth has been slow for me, but I finally hit 1k, now I’m working on getting watch time up aomI can get in the partner program. I think my focus now just has to be creating the best value I can for my viewers and interact with them in the comments. I love the idea of more authentic videos. That’s generally my preference as a viewer.

No matter what are the trends, at the end of the day the most important thing is how popular you are. When I started, I was so mad because I had great content but wasn't getting any attention, any views. I felt like getting to 1000 subs was mission impossible. But after some time, I was lucky when I found out I could give my channel initial dose of subs, just enough to start getting noticed more and more. I got myself a first couple hundred subs very fast (I have personally used a bit of Famester), and after that my main channel gained a ton of organic growth day after day.

I feel like shorts will spike your sub count but eventually kill your channels long form content because those that watch shorts don’t necessarily watch the long form content because when the algorithm recommends your long form videos to your subs from shorts and they don’t watch, they don’t recommend your video to others which happened to me.
