Had to scoot along for all that was bouncing in my head was.. "How much does it cost..". It sounds like a great piece of equipment.. I would be lucky to get 250 for my car.. However even though it's 19 years old I still get it through tests.. Biggest task so far I had to do. Replace all valves.. My fault.. Delayed changing timing belt.. :)

Like you said...You can't just erase the codes and expect the car fixed. This will give you very basic information to give you a heads up but your mechanic will need to diagnose the problem. Giving him the codes alone is worthless.
