It really annoys me that everyone isn't talking to each other to try figure it out, the voice on the radio, sara's voices, the lady who sees the kids, the boy also see's them, boyd's bugs, seeing dead people and the tree, the symbols jade keeps seeing, the wires that go to nowhere, everything going on with victor, the fact the fiancé gets trapped there and that random dog. If they tried linking it all the might figure it out but they just keep it to themselves lol

That's what I don't understand, and its very annoying! Bc wouldn't they want to try to figure it out instead of constantly coddling everybody and shushing the people who are trying to get answers. And like you said, come together to help each other figure it out. Jade seems to be the only one really trying to find answers, as annoying as he is. Victor knows the most but he's so timid and moody lol.

Mari is definitely a drug addict and my guess is Christy was actually getting away from her when she got stuck in fromville. This episode definitely pissed me off with the lack of monster action but the building of details was good. Seems to me that it’s becoming clear that this is some big experiment that’s very well out with incredible detail.

I love the show as a whole, but as a viewer my patience is wearing thin. We're through 14 episodes, and we really don't know anything more than we knew in episode one. Literally, not one answer has been given. From why the people are there, to the origin and what type of monsters stalk them, to the voices in Sarah's head, to the boy in white, to apparent Civil War soldiers seen by Jade, to the electricity coming from nowhere, to the voice on the other end of the radio, to the photo of Victor as a child behind the man with the book, to the symbols in said book, to the magic tree, to Elgin having a dream about the town while on the bus, to the old man in the dungeon (still wondering how he threw Boyd the rope), to the apparent "worms" in Boyd's (and Sarah's before) skin, to the two girls. I just hope the writers haven't written themselves into a corner. At some point the viewer has to get some sort of resolution or answer to plot twists, because more often not, whether it be movie or TV, things tend to get clumsy when every problem is resolved all at once I'm giving it one, maybe two more episodes. After that, if there's still nothing explained, I think I'm out.

It was promising but these writers and showrunners have no clue what the mystery is. The constant filler episodes yet the lack of reveals and the characters not exchanging info or asking questions, let's me know that the creators of this show haven't made a decision on what exactly is going on in this town. There are no pay-offs for the audience or the characters. The fact that Victor has been in the town since the beginning and no one has bothered to question him or the fact Tabitha hasn't told anyone where the monsters sleeps, let's me know this show isn't going to last long. Very frustrating.

Another important feature from this episode. Jim and Tabitha are realizing something bigger than them is going on in the town. This lays the groundwork for them believing Sarah when it is revealed that someone or something is communicating with her AND will likely not want her in the box.

Sara Killed 4 people that we know of!!! There could be more!! The guy from the crash, the lady that was looking after Kenny's father, Kenny's father and her brother. She needs to go! If people actually talked to each other, they'd realize Sara isn't the only one who has a connection to the place. The fact that Boyd is treating Kenny like he's being unreasonable is ridiculous. The other man got put in the box for less. This is the first episode where I've started to dislike Boyd. I'd rather stay stuck in the town under threat of death, than let Sara get off scot free. If he doesn't punish her than he will lose the town's respect, as he should. If he makes an exception for Sara, than anyone else who causes the death of another town member should get zero punishment. Whether they hear voices or not! I also hate that the show is trying to act like Sara is MORE of a victim than her actual VICTIMS!!

What if she's right? What if her killing people actually makes them escape? How the fuck would you know that's not the case??? She obviously knows more than average Joe (and Boyd saw that), so he's keeping her alive (at least) until he finds out more about what she knows. Calling for someone's death (in spite of evidence she knows more than others) is stupid and illogical. There's nothing to be gained from her death, and a potentially a lot to gain from her staying alive - considering she actually knows things and is not just insane and lucky at guessing.

Ok, we are in episode 4 and still keeping secrets from each other? No mention of the tree with the bottles that had messages in them. No mention of the tent being pulled all over the place. No mention of the lighthouse or the loud siren or the steps that had a sequence of years on them. No mention of the music box and how the prisoner told him to listen to the music because the music would let him know when they were coming like the music boxes in the diner turning on and off by themselves. No mention of the dummy and how Victor mentioned that when the dummy showed up last time bad things happened to the previous group of people that were in the town. I understand keeping some secrets but the others are important and would help more than hurt. Also Victor knows where most of the portal trees are so why isnt he offering to show people just in case. Get out the whiteboard and tell everyone in town to write down what they have seen so everyone is on the same page. STOP KEEPING SECRETS make some rational decisions for once.

He dug all those graves, seemingly because of the hopeless fact that he knew deaths would happen i.e. history repeat or predestination at work

I think the reason why Boyd wasn't attacked in the forest is because the worms slowly turn their hosts into the monsters, meaning they might have sensed him but not as a prey (his body is no longer "100% human") That could also explain how Martin was able to survive for so long and Boyd's parkinson regressing. Most importantly, the fact that the monsters are able to appear in human form before they attack. Maybe the worms are like a virus and destroy the host's humanity turning them into the monsters, while preserving their physical form in a way (the monsters are a shell of who they once were) What if the "worm virus" affected the whole town at some point and everyone got infected? This could explain why all the monsters seem to be from certain periods. It could also be a part of an experiment and each 4 decades or so the whole cycle repeats itself, now starting with Boyd

I have a theory love to hear what yous think first this is what they call a mystery box tv show i think we find alot of these shows get cancelled after the first or second season because the thrill is mysterious things happening and no one knowing why so you could make an addictive mystery that you yourself dont even know were you will take and the answer ends up being even less of a thrill then the question Raised by Wolves i think is a good example of this I love movies stories and allways dreamed of writing some of my own But if i had to guess were there going or were they should take the show It be like the story in hell boy 2 Its the magical dark forest were orcs elves everything we hear in stories live and there would have been war/ trickery on our side because we are human and fucked and we get the world they have the forest Now this forest in from what they shown alive i can imagine in my mind it being like a mother loving its children not getting involved unless there children are threatened and threatening there secrecy of a world long forgotten by man to spare them from past repeating sends a storm why There try to contact the out side But it is still a forest that grows magical as its everywhere and no were and like the town unknowingly the forest grow around and consume it So the monsters at night orcs guard the edge at night Ones the dude who chained up talks about are the ones elves probably at top or close to food chain have magic The stones when i saw them i thought indian Native American and then my next thought is honourable people/warriors people to be respected but also feared and if the Forrest grew to consume there land and a hole tribe of people that way different then most enough for them to have a shred of respect for them They mite throw them a dollar metaphor Not help them get out but throw them a stone or at least tell them what to carve on its so they they could feel safe more or less feel safe at night why they sleep and ull never know how more important that is till u done it hard but yer I have so many more ideas so if u stumble across this and your a writer for the show dont steal give me a job and if u like my ideas give this comment a like mite inspire me to write your next favourite tv show/movie

I think it’s an experiment being ran by the company Jade worked for prior to him and his buddy ending up there. They wanted him to be apart of the experiment so they drugged him (hence why he was high when they crashed their car and couldn’t remember much) and sent him into the place where they already had test subjects. He claimed he worked for a software engineering company and they were about to close a deal. From spelled backwards is Morf which comes from the Ancient Greek word meaning Morph with the definition: “to undergo transformation from an image of one object into that of another especially by means of computer-generated animation.” Simply put, they are in a simulation being controlled by Jades company. These beings at night are computer generated. Elgin was a former employee there which is why he knew exactly where the bus was going once he saw the tree. He’s been silent but can’t bring it to himself to confess they are all test subjects in a mad game being ran by a demented company because he will feel at fault somehow for the deaths of the people he has witnessed. The logo that Jade keeps seeing written in the books in the towns is the logo for the company. A company started by Victors parents where Victor has been trapped ever since he was a kid. Which is why he knows all about the creatures and the underground tunnels.

@@saprogenickiss bingo. They have experimented with radio waves and have managed to talk to people on the other side instructing them what to do. This could be a parallel reality they are caught in. This would explain why there are hints of time travel, worm holes, teleportations, infections, an electrical system within the town that doesn’t make sense (things don’t have to make sense within a simulation). I guarantee Elgin (the boy on the bus who saw a foreshadowing of the town before they got there) had something to do with the company running this whole thing. Maybe he worked for them but left before he got too involved. I suspect him and Jade grow some type of connection in the coming episodes. Also, my guess is that Victors mother/father were the original creators of this company that is running this experiment that jade now works for. That’s why he was shown in the picture with his lunchbox in the middle of town when he was a kid. He draws pictures to remember how he got there because the simulation has caused him to forget certain memories. He knows all about the creatures, he knows about the tunnels under ground. Plus him and jade have some sort of connection with a violin which we will find out the significance of later. My guess is the symbol that jade keeps seeing in books/drawings in the town is the logo for the company he worked for which is why he knew to ask Victor about it and what it means to him

Jade asks WHEN Elgin said to turn the bus around. He didn’t make the connection yet, but eventually Jade will realize it’s odd that he said to turn around before everyone on the bus knew where they were and what was happening. This will be important down the line

My thinking is that Jade and Elgin worked together at the same company that may be running this experiment, now this is just my theory but Jade may have asked the bus driver that question because he instinctively knew if this guy Elgin had a feeling about this town before they got there, maybe he was an employee of this company but possibly left before he got too involved beings he didn’t agree with what kind of experiment they were running. But the company happened to trap Elgin before he could get word out to the rest of the world in regards to what they’re ultimately trying to do. This is why Elgin knew before the bus even got there that something was wrong. I believe him and Jade grow a connection in the later episodes.

@@AJafterhourz I think the show is great and I love the need to find the right questions, not just here's and answer for everything, this show is like an escape room, I think the pieces are there, you just have to put them together...That being said, I like where you're going, kind of a cliche direction, but if that is the case, how do you explain the seizure Elgin had when he got off the bus?...There has to be some commonality that hasn't been revealed yet as to how everyone got there - beyond the tree (IMO) - such as a red pill blue pill kind of thing. Also, I imagine there is a reason that they cannont articulate to one another what they are experiencing and keeping visions and seemingly impossibly experiences to themselves...Contrary to majority of the comments, I think they have revealed a lot without saying it, and the show is a great big mystery, (i.e. despite "attempting everything" to leave, no one has said or given any clear example of how they tried in the past, why? Also, only a few people are able to consistently focus on getting out, and when they do something happens to them - Jim, Tabitha, Sarah, Jade, etc...Donna intentions?...May not be as they appear - she is constantly trying to satiate people and mitigate desires for change, why?...I also think the fact that Elign asked very specifically "Is there any WATER nearby", was a clear hint that that pond is some kind of key to solving the puzzle OR figuring out the evil.

@@AJafterhourz those things are definitely possible. But Jade asked when he freaked out to keep her from blaming herself(you are already screwed/in the loop if you see the tree). If he knew more, he would have asked different questions or acted differently. My point was, Jade didn’t make the connection that, “oh wow, wait a second, why would Elgin have said turn around before he/everyone on the bus knew where they were”. My point was also, at some point Jade will realize that Elgin knew something about the place before anyone else on the bus and try to find out what he knew and how.

Jade is one character in the show that has the smallest filter. So with him, i don’t see the writers creating some storyline where that changes. He says what he’s thinking constantly(most of the time too much). IMO very unlikely there is any mystery/holding back based on his character archetype.

I enjoy this show in spite of all of the similarities to lost. I can only hope that I like the way the endgame goes better than I did with that show but in general I find that I enjoy the mystery part far more than the answer part lol.

In the church, it showed that Father Kathri used a mailbox as a makeshift podium to deliver his sermons. Maybe the townsfolk can think of a way to open the mailbox and get to the letters inside. That would give them an idea of where they're at. But, if the mailbox is completely empty, that would be very telling too.

My prediction is that they will put Sara in the box, Boyd will feel terrible and run out to save her. When he does, he realizes he is immune to the "walkers". The man tied up in the cave would have never survived if this wasn't the case, and now Boyd carries the same "blood". Could be an interesting twist.

I think this show is on the Fastrack to cancellation. The premise of the show itself was excellent but there has been no payoff, the characters are boring and the story seems to be going nowhere. Some of the decisions they've made are baffling to say the least. Jade feels like the only character worth the effort of watching every week.

What reason could Boyd give to keep Sara alive? wouldn’t he have to come clean that he’s got the bugs crawling under his skin? Kenny has the most correct reason and I think she will end up in the box where she should be. Whether or not she comes out of the box Alive is the question I’ve got. I feel that she has been as infected as Boyd with the worm things so if she survives the night in the box, it would be interesting.

I was rewatching From and came up with a strange theory related to the Twilight zone episode of “The Monster”. What if Victor is “The Monster” in that based on Twilight Zone episode..He created this world to keep people trapped while using the various “monsters” to torture, play with and convict the townsfolk. Perhaps in his childlike mind, this is his weird way of “playing” and punishing folks that he likes and dislikes. Just like in the twilight zone episode of “the monster” and the remakes of that episode???? It’s Victor the whole time creating this little world and until he is either destroyed or someone is able to penetrate his mind they will be LOST forever. IDK folks…just something to make you say…hmmmm🤔

In the finale episode Tabitha comes to believe that those ghost kids maybe their only salvation: As Boyd believes he is finally out of answers & the town residents prepare for "the end". Clearly, they have done something to piss off the powers that be & what they believe is an unstoppable force is coming to wipe them all out. Of course, the plot cannot afford that to happen or there would be no more FROM. I wouldn't sweat that one too much. It is stated that they'll be big reveal in episode 6 & that Boyd & Kristi pursue this new revelation in episode 7. "Speculation" is that a monster is killed or somehow dies. Obviously with Kristi & her magically healing powers & infinite doctoral, surgical, & paramedical, wisdom as a 4th year med student well know precisely how to conduct an alien autopsy to search for weaknesses. I know that Jim teams up with the volatile Randall & hatch a dangerous plan. Of course, Randall f*cks him over "Jim is forced to deal with the magnitude of his mistake by enlisting Randall". I have all of the episode outlines, I've seen both of the behind scenes segments & clips of future episodes which only air after a tv broadcast apparently. They are not available OnDemand & people streaming say they have not seen them either. All the info I have only gives you part of story & not enough of it of course. I know Victor & Jade team up this week after making a deal. I can see them in the vehicle graveyard/junkyard with Victor holding a violin & Jade hold the Polaroid picture. I can reasonably assume Jade is looking for the car in that photo for clues about the owner. I know from the trailer that Jade actually sees that guy holding the book at some point & likely in a vision. He has likely agreed to teach Victor how to play the violin that his mother likely owned & played. I know that there is deadly night at the clinic once again. I know that a new nurse shows up in episode 10 played by Anthony L. Jackson. If a new nurse shows up, I suspect that means we are going to be one nurse short at some point which is bad news for Kristi &/or her girlfriend.

Just my idea. worth noting.. From the statement, "maybe Abby was right and everything was just a dream" tells us that they may in fact be in a dream right now. The TREE they all saw in the road was the trigger for all these events. They may all just have been into road accidents involving the tree at different period and place in time and they are all in comatose at the hospital and they kinda share within each other a NEAR DEATH EXPERIENCE that may be similar to a DREAM STATE they are in. Also, there are some characters that died through the time because they just couldn't make it loke those old people they cannot actually handle the inpact of the road accident that is why they died early in the hospital. That is also why Viewers cannot make any sense of the relation of other aspects like the electricity without wire, the dimensions or portals in the tree etc. The human like creatures that eat people are just like REAPERS that are actually waiting for them to actually die and the ghosts they see in white maybe angels guiding them so they can make it through this dilemma. Our minds can make up anything that is why some aspects may seem unrelated to a mystery but then it simplified to our mind and when in a COMATOSE our mind is the only one running and they may all just be experiencing these events in their mind

In addition, I think victor started getting sick when he was a child and still on life support for years that is why He has more experience and idea how to navigate the Near death experience they are in. Those voices they hear like sarah are voices of the doctors actually guiding her because aside from her mind that is functioning while in a coma there are times that her ears started functioning too.. There are also some experiences there that are for some specific person like boyd in meeting the names of his past friends/colleagues because during NDE out mind letd us experience again some strong emotions like regrets of the life we had.

This show's quality decline was massive from season 1 to season 2. After four episodes I can pretty much guarantee there'll be no season 3. The main plot's moving as slow as malaises. The monster threat is also completely gone. Boring.

Honestly, I think it's a big mistake to not push the plot forward early in the season. They haven't resolved any of the threads from last season at all, and on top of that they've introduced a whole bunch of new characters with some being carbon copies of existing characters. And, turns out Boyd didn't get a new foil to help him move his character arc forward, so they had to bring back the priest as a "hallucination", which just opens up more questions. All in all this show seems to be going down the same path Lost did, which is to say, more mystery boxes than answers. We already know how audiences react to that. It's ironic Harold Perrineau was a star in both shows lol.

I do think Boyd need to fill Donna in though ( she’s bad ass) and would be a better deputy than Kenny. It’s Ike the writers are not sure themselves about what they wrote, lol. Also I don’t trust that old lady ( Tilly ) ; she’s up to something ( a mole ) . Lastly Randall, I’d make him leave with no talisman , no bus , no nothing .

The constant filler episodes yet the lack of reveals and the characters not exchanging info or asking questions, let's me know that the creators of this show haven't made a decision on what exactly is going on in this town. There are no pay-offs for the audience or the characters. The fact that Victor has been in the town since the beginning and no one has bothered to question him or the fact Tabitha hasn't told anyone where the monsters sleeps, let's me know this show isn't going to last long. Very frustrating.

In the episode where the elderly couple are killed on the bus, it is the first time that you see a prolonged perspective from one of the creature's ponit of view, and in that scene, the creature slowly boards the bus and admires the scenery as if he is a shopper in a department store. It's not until the creature hears a sound that he turns his smile on and decides to investigate it. I definitely think that they can be hidden from,cand even avoided, if they don't hear you. He literally says something to that effect, paraphrasing what I just said. The show shows that their hiding silently was briefly effective, until they gave themselves away by making noise. There's definitely something to hiding from them. We've never seen it work, but that is the closest we've got to seeing it work.

It's just slow and boring pointless talking drama that gives you NOTHING in return! Nobody and I mean NOBODY is watching this show for the character relationships! We are all here for the mystery, for the horrors! But we are being denied these things on purpose! The writers and directors of this show are horrible people and they don't deserve our appreciation. It's like watching people torture animals for fun. They have no explanation why they are doing this. They just want to do it again and again. I can't keep coming back for another empty pointless episode and watch the painful silent treatment of all the residents regarding what they have seen or experienced.
