great review. i found that Q800pro is suitable for me but i need to know somethings! i bought viofo then i return it. their app is pure perfection but their cams can't handle hot weather so is thinkware cams can handle that? i bought blackvue & then i return it. their cams can handle hot hot weather but their app is a headache & with less features of the viofo app. blackvue app issues are: 1- wifi always on (should be turned on\off by long press or separate button). 2- there is no button to save previous video as a protected event while driving. 3- GPS altitude & longitude not showing in the recorded video. 4- i can't delete protected events because it start reserving storage over time, i have to format the whole storage card! so does thinkware app have those issues?

Why has the uk based technical support been moved to the USA. The service for technical issues is now terrible. My q1000 no longer does live view and I have had a support ticket open for months regarding it closing live view and not showing any video. At least the UK based support tried to help but now it’s in the USA all they seem capable of doing is logging a support ticket and passing the details along. I thought I was dealing with a professional company but there no better than the cheaper offerings and I’ve wasted months trying to get this dash cam to work as expected. Do THINKWARE even read customer complaints.?

Bad dash cams do not waste your money. I spent $800 on their top of the line cameras for it to fail, in numerous different ways. Also, several people hit my car and it didn’t pick it up.

these dashcam are annoying too. they keep on making a beeping noise when another vehicle is close. i was driving in heavy rain and my thinkware dashcam kept on making a beeping noise every 30 seconds. horrible annoying design flaw. i think the customer can't even turn that shit off too. we dont need a dashcam to tell us what to do
