Arenado wins the platinum glove every year and he is very good offensively. That means the only player even close to him at 3rd is Machado. I can guarantee if he played for the Dodgers he would be ranked #1. This list is a joke.

Arenado was mediocre offensively in both 2020 and 2021. The shredder values elite performance AND consistency. So, while Arenado was the best third baseman last year, Machado was close and clearly superior, with the bat at least, the previous two. Riley, Jose, and Devers also were more consistent the last few years. Riley more so just 2021 and 2022, but that’s still two consecutive really good years and the last mediocre/bad one is 2020. I’d imagine if you dig into the numbers, this might be the smallest distance between 1 and 5 of any list because of the variables.

Arenado is arguably #1 at least top 3. Muncy shouldn't be on the list. Anyone that bats 189 had no business being on any top list at any position. Lemahieu played like 45 games at 3b last year. How does he even qualify. Donaldson plays 3b for the Yankees. Chapman--hello? Chapman should be at least #6. 2x platnum glove winner that was robbed of a gold glove last year and plays almost everyday with a high obs. This list is bad

litearly has to be a joke... lemahieu, muncy, and turner are all horrible at hitting and defense, turner and lemahieu are both old too and muncy hit like .179 this year. yandy needs to be higher higher maybe 7 or 8 (interchangable with chapman who needs to be 7 or 8 as well). arenado at 5 is just illegal, he was almost mvp and he needs to be swapped with riley. this list is just horrible.

I looked into this more and it is even worse. DJ only played 46 games at third base in 2023. Over his 11 year career only 183 games. Max Muncy only played 14 games last year!!! MLB please explain?? Did anyone with baseball knowledge review this list?
