I got the non adjustable one for my 87 Camaro Sport Coupe, and I noticed a difference immediately. the steering was more responsive, and the chassis felt stiffer. Great upgrade

Pair this upgrade up with poly bushings for endlinks and a 1 1/4” sway bar, poly tubular control arms, and a strut tower brace. So damn stiff in the corners it’s insane. I want to get the tubular front end kit that cleetus has for toast. And a tubular k member. I can’t wait lol

Great video! Wonderbar for sure, but I do prefer the TopDownSolutions Wonderbar, because it's bolted on through three bolts per side, compared to the Spohn version. The fitting is excellent on the TDS version, too without adjusting anything.

@@TonyTheTechnician Thanks for the video. I have an 87 GTA that is making a noise underneath the frontend, I replaced the bump stops that I bought from Hawks Motor Sports, but noise is still there. So, I ordered a UMI wonder bar that just came in today. It's not adjustable though. Can't wait to install it and see if that noise goes away. I've already replaced the tie rods and center drag link. Hoping nothing is broken around my steering box, I've been dogging the shit out of it for over 20 years. It's definitely been driven hard, especially since I put a T-56 in it.
@TonyTheTechnician

Thanks for the video. I just bought a lowered 3rd gen and im having trouble jacking it. My low profile jack fits under the cross member at the center but nowhere to pump the handle, I have read not to jack at the subframe so where else can i jack this car at?
@TonyTheTechnician
@TonyTheTechnician 4 жыл бұрын
If you have to jack the sub frame then it is fine. If you wanted you could jack the sub frame up enough to get under the crossmember better and Jack it from there. If you have two Jack's or something to hold the car up. You can also jack up the rear end but obviously your trying to lift the front. So all you really have is the crossmember and the sub frame. The sub frame is fine as long as your not using a small head jack or a bottle jack which obviously you can't fit under your car. So ya that's you best bet

I wonder why they slotted the mounting bolt holes being that there is a center adjustment on the bar?
@TonyTheTechnician
@TonyTheTechnician 4 жыл бұрын
That's a good question. The only thing I can think of and I'm just guessing is so it's easier to install and when tightened down and spread the side of the hole doesn't put alot of pressure on the threads of the bolt. The pressure would be more in the head and the mounting plate
