I used a jack to hold the sway bar and wonder bar up so the only concern was lining up the holes. Still no picnic.

Yo I got a 1993 Z28 was trying to install my 35mm bmr sway bar . But came across some issues my sway bar would reach to the other side of my arm to bolt down . And the far off couple inches . Not sure what I’m doing wrong .

I know this is old content but I just replaced my front sway bar and links on my 1986 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. The bar on the left side "driver" of the car where the steering pivot point is. That is touching my sway bar. Yours is about a quarter Ince from it. Not sure how I managed this feat.

It depends they changed from year to year and depending on model that you had. Fronts had different sizes such as 27, 30, 32, 34 and 36. And the rears ranged from 18, 21 and 24. Also models like mine came with no front or rear sway bars.

@@stephendorsey4481 you can just use a digital Caliper to measure it or grab a metric wrench and see which one slide over the sway bar

Hey. Well I would check to make sure your bushing size is made for the sway bar size you purchased. And mine didn't touch until I got it bolted up bc you don't want them loose around the sway bar. 👍

Hey man I have a 3rd gen and I have a 98 Camaro rearend .so my question is would I get sway bar for 98 Camaro or 86.im thinking I got wrong sway bar cause clamp want for on rear.

I believe 3rd gen. Since the endlinks bolt to the body so that would be the proper width. It just a matter of getting the correct clamps and bushing for holding it to the rear end. I could be wrong. Haven't looked at it in awhile. I'll check out some research and get back to you

@@trudad03 no problem. Glad I could help and glad you figured it out. The front sway bar the ends will go to the top of the end links and in the rear the ends go to the bottom of the sway bar. It's just how the mounts are configured. 👍
